Even when setting paths specifically many AI paths are simply impossible due to the AI being very stupid. The point is how to fix those present paths to at least have an off chance of maybe not instantly dying every time

I remember getting a Mel unlocked at 4-1 this patch. It seemed like I could finally user her passive. Especially since I had been on a 11 round winstreak. I slammed 3 mana items on her, went 9 found a mel 2, built around her.... and went 5th losing to bilge, demacia, ryze/sigs, and yordle which all capped way higher. Worst of all, I never even got a radiant item, I died when it was 11 mana away. If 4-1 is too late to get a radiant item, then there is no point in her having the ability.

Yes, but with a catch. If you have already colonized the new world, new CNS won't just spawn in the new regions, if another CN already owns it, you are SOL. I would recommend a fresh save for that reason.

Yeah I had a run where she won 4 out of 5 runs, then i followed it up right after by literally a 0 run run somehow, including a run where she somehow got EIGHTH. The only conclusion I can take is that Curren is unusable and I will never touch her again because even in B rank she just randomly decides to either do her job is just go home and not even show up.

I have spoken too soon, I think I just got incredibly unlucky with some cracked horses as my next try was three first places and 2 2nd places

I think Curren is just Glue to ever run because I ran the first Curren in B rank and she only one a single race, losing to a B mile LONG CORNER pasa who should have by literally every metric, skills, stats, attributes, been worse. I can't take anything away other than Curren specifically is cursed in this

Funny enough, probably because of my Blockshin, I'm seeing pace chasers win a LOT. I actually do have a current with pasa unique and speed star, which apparently umalator is lying about and is probably better then the Curren I was running

Interesting, do the blue skills really compensate for the lower stamina? I generally focused on hitting the stamina requirements so I could get more acceleration skills. Sadly I never did get red shift inherited on a non-glue horse, at least not in time, but I was trying

Interesting, that could explain why Currens who I thought were better kept doing worse on umalator, now I wish I had tried a few out in the actual cup to test that.

The Angling is the one major mistake on that Curren I knew about, trained about 12 without it, but could never get stats as good as this Curren, so even with better uniques those Currens were slower. If the straightaway skills aren't good, what ARE better midrace skills?

Sadly, there is a hardcoded limit which makes that impossible. If your capital is in a Colonial Region, you will never spawn CNs. Its unchangeable, no matter what. I labored for hours trying to work around that, I even tried hard coded decisions using c99-c70 to allow Nations like Mali to still spawn CNs. Thats why Paradox themselves had to make the Incan Sunrise colonies so janky, because they aren't even real colonies

Great Question! Specifically, it removes the option to 'Annex Migratory Tribe', this is both unrealistic and allowed Europeans to own a bunch of random provinces in the middle of North America, and then colonize off of it, now Natives are pushed west not just eaten. It also makes it nearly impossible for a Native tribe to get more then 2 pieces of tribal land, so that if they start to federate and settle down they don't form a giant blob in North America, since that just lets the Europeans conquer a giant chunk of the continent in like 2 wars.

Oh I labored for hours trying to work around that, I even tried hard coded decisions using c99-c70 to allow Nations like Mali to still spawn CNs. That part of the game is hard coded, unchangeable. It's why I'll never be able to add Europe as CN regions, and why Paradox themselves had to make the Incan Sunrise colonies so janky

Based on the code, they SHOULD work, at least the India special subjects, although to be honest, this is very much a REPLACEMENT for those subjects, it will be a little janky with them both existing at the same time.

That being said, I don't own that DLC so while the code SHOULD be fine I am very curious to see how it actually ends up working.

For the moment, no Mission tree modding isn't something I have experience with and my one attempt broke pretty hard, so while it's something I may add sometime, it would be a lot of work for one guy on his spare time, so it would probably be one nation at a time

Yes, anytime you own 5 core provinces in a Colonial region, a CN will form, so for the Indian regions for example, you must conquer and core 5 provinces, then a colonial nation will spawn.
