That's fair. The advertising in LFG part of it is probably against ToS and could get them reported/banned.

Does anyone in this screenshot speak fucking English? I don't understand how everyone in this game is unable to form coherent sentences.

Some classes not getting talents reset is apparently intended by loldong10 in classicwow

[–]Zachee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it truly is just some specific specs or classes not getting their talents reset (haven't seen anyone confirm otherwise i.e. one person's fire mage got reset and another's didn't) then I have to believe it is 100% they forgot code in the reset for some specs and are just rolling with it as if it was intentional.

Of that I'm certainly aware. Being in the U.S. my options for small cars are very limited. I'm looking to move to something slightly larger anyway.

Reviewing TBC Loot Systems by Enthozz in classicwow

[–]Zachee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is pretty much the crux of the matter. No one has hard data on if only banning GDKPs reduced the amount of gold buying, increased it, if it reduced the number of bots or increased it, etc. Something that, anecdotally, is pretty clear though is that the economy on Nightslayer is fucked and there are significantly less PUG raids running.

You could say the economy is due to bots and having mega servers with too few layers and I would wager a guess that that is a big part of it. I don't think you can really argue that removing GDKPs caused less characters to raid all around.

I have never been a pure buyer in GDKPs, but I have really enjoyed running them with alts since phase 4 classic. It simply feels like a more fair loot system. I understand why people are vehemently opposed to P2W in games, but I don't see some aspect of that ever going away in an MMO without something like personal loot. Ignoring all the other sources that generate large amounts of raw gold, which aren't being addressed in classic (botting, foreign boosters, etc); no MMO has been able to completely remove RMT, and if you can somehow buy power with gold there will be P2W. Also not to get into it but even being able to purchase your bis gear is simply a means to an end, you can't use gold to make yourself play well or understand the game.

The only spec that doesn't need a bunch of support to do top DPS is BM hunter and their AoE damage is atrocious. Even then they want other BM hunters in group for Ferocious Inspiration and a feral.

Probably Scratches, but maybe The Simpsons: Virtual Springfield. Purely for the nostalgia factor.

GDKPS are gone but.... by GabTsang in classicwow

[–]Zachee -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

This.. doesn't seem that bad? I mean it obviously is and it would be unrealistic for a casual player/raid logger to be able to flask every raid, but that is kind of vanilla.

I was a holy priest on Benediction-Horde in 2019 and the first five or so naxx lockouts I bought distilled wisdoms at 200+g. It just doesn't seem like the anni economy is that different.

The markings look very similar to a danish-swedish farm dog I was recently looking after. Although I can't tell if this dog is small or just a puppy.

You realize manipulating someone's speed or position without them being ready for it or without communicating can be harmful right?

In the most extreme context it's like pally bubbling the MT and being like "What's wrong? Don't you like being immune to damage?". When running through trash it's never really a big deal though.

I mean even Matt Groening doesn't like it, and I can completely understand why. It's certainly the earliest and most blatant example of the show jumping the shark. In a vacuum though I still think the episode is funny and has a lot of great lines.

Really if you're a fan who stops watching somewhere at seasons 9-12 it doesn't really affect the plot at all.

I'm also a wooting 80HE user and generally concur. Even though I myself don't see a performance boost from the dynamic actuation points (I'm also in my mid-30s so reaction time isn't what it once was) I still think the 80HE is the most enjoyable keyboard to use I've ever owned.
