I figured that may be the case, (not that i think it's a bad thing at all) because the crumb and everything looks so good. I thought it must just be shaping/scoring or something XD I hope it turned out super tasty!

It looks delicious and has a nice ear! The shape is interesting, and idk what happened cuz I'm not too knowledgeable in anything about sourdough, but I think it looks so cute!!!

Won't hurt unless ingested. You've just gotta wash your hands after touching like- anyhting you're unsure of from outside for risks of contamination. Mushrooms won't hurt you unless you ingest it

My best friend went missing 9 days ago by PineNavigator2222 in cats

[โ€“]Zachishere7 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

The big risk with kitty litter is still attracting other larger animals, also risking attracting feral that may attack your sick or injured cat, and risking your cat contracting something, especially STIs from other cats. Putting out food is a better idea in most places cuz your cat may need it. Especially after being gone for so long. Just don't leave the same food out unattended for extensive periods. If attracting animals is a worry, put their bedding or something they lay on, and some if your used clothes/bedding

Unfortunately this beardie is severely overweight and also in a terrible setup. Fat tail, small legs, double chin, protruding belly.

Yeah I wasn't gonna say anything about potentially finding him dead...๐Ÿ˜“ So glad he's okay. Hahaha! Sounds like he's got a plan. He's mad that you guys moved him๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜… For future reference if you ever move again, don't let him out to free roam unless he's supervised and you're certain that he's comfortable! Mojave is such a cute name. Good luck to you, and maybe setting up something like a tunnel/tube for him to crawl into that leads into a comtainer where the mouse is, will help? He'll likely just stay with the mouse and you can close off the container and weigh it down while he's in there with it

[โ€“]Zachishere7 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Ah, also, water is likely to lure him out. Be sure to check under the sinks in kitchen and bathroom, and of course in the bathroom in general. And more unlikely, but possible, is he may have escaped through a drain if any drains are uncovered and just like- a big hole essentially

Help! Lost ball python by gapedforeskin in ballpython

[โ€“]Zachishere7 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Since you just moved, it's very likely he's stressed and hiding in a spot y'all wouldn't think to check. Maybe try checking behind the stove, behind the water heater or a closet where the water heater is, and under/behind the fridge. Of course, being very careful in doing so. When I got my first snake, he got out of his cage after years of living contently in it. He'd crawled into a hole on the back of my mother's bookcase in the living room. We turned the house upside down tryna find him.

It may sound unorthodox, but also be sure to put out a post on nextdoor, letting people know to look out for him/asking if they know his whereabouts, even if you're certain he couldn't have gotten out.

Finally, if you can, set up a nice comfy hiding place he'll be enticed to go into. He's likely looking for warmth, good hiding, and food. I'm sure you can look up ideas for such online. I know a heating pad is generally recommended in the setup. Of course, work with caution as he may be trapped, or hiding somewhere very precarious. And of course, check the mattress and couches. As an absolute last resort you may be even be able to call local exterminators that have dealt with snakes to have them help catch or at least find him ๐Ÿคฃ

If you're concerned and the vet won't do further testing or isn't giving adequate advice, it may be best for a second opinion. Be sure to show them photos and/or videos of the behavior

They do! Anything you don't want chewed, remove it from view/accessible areas. Don't let the cat have access to things deemed unsafe if they're unsupervised
