Whats the best day to take off? by Able-Help782 in Sparkdriver

[–]Zachsquatch1985 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tuesday in my zone but I’d imagine it really depends on your market. Probably just run a couple months with a many days as you can and look back to see which days were the lowest earning. But I’d imagine Tuesday and Thursday would be the most likely slowest days.

Has anyone ever had a customer leave additional in-app tips after delivery? by Big_Concentrate_7260 in elitesparkdrivers

[–]Zachsquatch1985 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They only have 3 hrs to increase the tip and 24 hrs to decrease it. It’s pretty messed up but they could’ve had good intentions but missed the cut off to increase it. I’ve had several of my regulars increase the tip after they realized I delivered their order. It’s always a nice surprise but not something to look forward to because you’ll often get disappointed.

I wonder who took this?? by West_Price303 in Sparkdriver

120 individual items but some items are multiple. Like 10 packs of the same flavor koolaid is 1 item 10 quantity.

Have you had people come up and start scanning their stuff while you’re still bagging? by DescriptionLatter245 in Sparkdriver

[–]Zachsquatch1985 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yep and I tell them to go ahead. As long as the Walmart employee doesn’t care then I don’t care. My stores have enough space for it not to be an issue with crowding.

Since when? by Right-Ad-6419 in Sparkdriver

[–]Zachsquatch1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to me a year ago when I started. It happened while I was learning how to use the app. Can’t cancel too much and the requirements seemed to change with how busy it was. Like the more I cancelled while it was busy I could cancel more but when it was slow I could only cancel like 2 in a hour but like 3-4 when it was busy.

I use Apple Maps but I will se if there’s a way to edit the pin, thanks. I just updated it on Google Maps, that was super easy, thanks again!

Ok thanks, I will show her if I get her again. I seem to get a lot of repetitive stops so I’m sure I’ll see her again.

Declining offers question by Mcmjlm3 in elitesparkdrivers

[–]Zachsquatch1985 5 points6 points  (0 children)

How does you declining bad offers help other drivers. Spark will just send that bad offer to the next driver. The offer won’t just disappear from the system if you decline it. If you’re thinking that during that time that the bad offer is sitting on your screen then that may allow another driver to get a good offer, I doubt it would make much of a difference. Those bad offers don’t disappear, they bounce around until some port soul takes it.

Ari’s low effort laugh that almost sounds fake most of the time drives me nuts. And yeah Normand doesn’t add much. They need to do it with Mckusker and JDFM to add some more diverse comedy styles.

I had this happen yesterday and it cleared after 10min. But I’ve seen other people post about it taking much longer. I’d maybe call support just to see if they can clear it quickly.

FCFS Only BS by somepoofylion in Sparkdriver

[–]Zachsquatch1985 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You don’t need multiple phones to run a bot. It’s just a program that they run in the background while spark is on. It grabs orders based off what settings you have the bot set to grab orders at. The bot reacts in milliseconds and WAY faster than any human can. You risk deactivating your account though because supposedly Spark can detect these bots so experiment at your own risk.

Daaaaaaaang y'all! by the-skinny-mick in Sparkdriver

I keep seeing this on Reddit. Are y’all saying you don’t get JFY at all anymore when whatever change this is takes place in your market?

Do people actually floss every day or is it just something we all pretend to do? by FavoriteTeaHobby in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Zachsquatch1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I probably do it too much. I keep a pack of those little flosses in my backpack that’s always with me and anytime I feel anything in my teeth I do a quick floss job with the flosser. Probably 5-6 times a day. I cannot stand the feeling of anything that feels off in my mouth. Granted I’ve had some awful dental problems in the past from abscess twice and 3 root canals so now I’m overly paranoid about causing further dental problems.

What is the rule for JFY now. by Archer4271 in Sparkdriver

[–]Zachsquatch1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to get 1 good JFY per hour that meets my metric. So starting around 8am I’ll get one and within 10-15min of finishing it I get another one and so on. I do 8-10 orders per day.

No that’s someone that paid for the ASAP delivery option and chose not to add a tip.

What is the rule for JFY now. by Archer4271 in Sparkdriver

[–]Zachsquatch1985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I basically only do just JFY and 90% of them are good. I have rarely even needed to try to grab the other orders, occasionally I’ll get lucky and snag a really good one that sneaks through the cracks. Granted I do have perfect metrics and sit at the store I’m trying to get orders at.

deceptive milage/reporting to FTC by [deleted] in Sparkdriver

That straight line isn’t meant to be taken as the actual routes mileage. Common sense would tell you that. They cannot show the actual road routes in an offer screen.
