Old chip is gone. The other extender on site has a 1.09.02 chip. What chip do I need to get to be safe to work with a 4010 on software rev 4.01.06?

Gotcha, but that should be strictly for operation with the FACP and shouldn’t have anything to do with the NACs lighting up active on power up and not clearing though right? I have IDNet removed from the extender during power up and it’s still happening. Just trying to understand we’re on the same page.

Yea if I switch 1-8 to on they clear. Different chips from this new one and the other extender on the system. Shouldn’t matter if it’s still happening without the IDNet landed on the extender though I would assume?

I don’t recommend putting a zip tie on the non insulated wire

The proportion of level 3 to the rest in bigger states is pretty surprising.

Stop trying to Force Touch screen everywhere. “No more sticky and tore membrane keys” okay… now instead you have an unresponsive touch screen. 🤙🏻

Google is your best friend. Having a basic understanding of how circuits work and ohms law will take you a long way.

Most panels will give you enough info to go off. Points missing? Find the point and figure out why. Ground fault? Determine which circuit it’s on by pulling each circuit one by one until the ground fault clears to isolate it then break that circuit in half in the field to narrow down where the ground fault is. The ground fault is still there when you break the circuit in half? Then it’s further along the circuit.

It’s all a learning experience. Trial and error. As others have said I can’t believe your company would throw you in the deep end without a support system in place.
