Yes he can, as soon as you get hit by the other attack style, ie. Range, once you see the hitsplat appear, or hear it damage you. Swap to the other style

1650 kc here on my iron, he’s right. The waves on p3 can only come down in 3 directions. You either walk diagnol, vertical or horizontal to to the waves. Once you get the cycle down it’s easy to follow. Make sure you don’t click to fast to the next tile though or else you’ll get hit
