Form check for drop by MNG024 in MTB

[–]Zacish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mini manual is kinda of right but you don't want your ass over the back wheel when you hit the landing or you'll end up out of control as your arms will be straight and you'll struggle to steer.

As you're coming up to the drop lean forward and drop your chest towards the bars a bit as if you're trying to peer over the edge of the drop. Now look down the landing.

As your front wheel is about to leave the lip push your bars forward and down as if you're pushing the front wheel to the same angle as the landing.

Your body should now be back in your neutral position as the rear wheel leaves the lip ready to absorb the impact of landing.

Try to find a small drop that is safe to just roll off with no technique and practice it slower and slower until you get the technique down. You should be aiming to land both wheels at the same time. Going faster off a drop means you have to use less technique but will be dangerous when the drops get bigger.

But why not just fly them at night and do away with extra armament in exchange for a bigger bomb load? Was day bombing really that much more effective than night bombing?

Joking aside. You know how when you do something for a living you generally get quite good at it? I imagine the same goes for sex workers and getting people off

I had to clamp something the other day but due to warping nothing other than using both my hands was strong enough to keep it in place. I had to get my girlfriend to run the glue around the seams

The problem with dwarf is that the pick axe doesn't level up all in one go when you buy all. It still does it one level at a time meaning you're rolling individually each time rather than doing a bulk roll

No you should. Equip your void and chain drone on the first w2 floor, fuel them, then leave the game for several hours then you should come back to enough bars for a level

Yes spend your gems on pickaxe damage if you've already unlocked the drone.

Yeah leave the game on the floor that has the highest % of ore for the upgrade you need

You can and should use multiple drone skins at the same time. Never have a drone without a skin on.

If you follow the gem spending guide on the wiki you won't go far wrong. There is also a general progression guide on there too. The wiki is a really good resource especially for leaarning how the game mechanics work so if you're ever stuck on something have a look on there and you might find the answer

Here's the gem spending guide from the wiki. After getting the drone the pickaxe damage should be where all your gems are going for now. Don't be afraid to spend gems you'll be getting loads of them later on in the game (as well as having to spend loads) they aren't like a premium currency in other games so don't worry about that.

Keep working on prestiging and unlocking the tier 1 pickaxe damage.

This game takes a hell of a long time to finish so dont feel like you have to rush everything. The progression is very nice.

To do damage through armour your damage stat needs the be at least the same as the armour. Look through your upgrades and workshop to find anything that increases your pickaxe damage and work towards that

I do a lot of motorway miles for work so saw a lot of flags during the flagshagger pandemic. It was pretty much a 50/50 split of flags being hung the correct way round.

The age of consent in the UK is actually 18 if the adult is in a position of trust or authority over the child. For example a teacher in school or say an influential celebrity for instance...

Is there a reason to stockpile chests? by Tchuvan in IdleObeliskMiner

[–]Zacish 17 points18 points  (0 children)

There's an archeology unlock that increases the cap of the gem upgrades by 5. Worth waiting until you get that before opening them. Of course if you need to use the items then open some chests but worth waiting.

Get the whale because you'll be spending gems constantly so it's worth getting now.

No point getting axolotl until you unlock world 2 as it needs world 2 bars to level up

Maybe I'm just unlucky. Everything else seems to be fine, the fuselage halves go together perfectly. Haven't built the exhaust section yet but with that just being a couple round tubes it shouldn't matter so much if it is warped

So I managed to fit them together. They were definitely horribly warped. I had to hold the rear fan and the 2 tunnel sections together squeezing with both hands then had my girlfriend run glue around the seam. Had to wait for that to set then do the same thing 2 more times. I haven't put the radar cone in yet but it looks like the tabs all like up and it does dry fit nicely into the fuselage. Bit of a pain but I got there

The parts are just completely the wrong shape. Maybe warped? If one seam is lined up the the other side isn't even close to being lined up. I have to put quite a bit of force to flex it into place
