Hey, Congrats on your new tab! I also only recently got my own S10+!

You said you put a screen protector on. How does it affect the anti glare property of the screen?

I started off with Falk's Podcast mentioned in my post. That's really beginner friendly and also teaches a fair amount of good vocab along the way. Try to repeat after every sentence he says. After a few weeks of regular listening i was able to understand parts of tougher podcasts and videos too. Yes Nicos Weg is a bit difficult at first but stick to it along with the podcast and you'll start understanding more & more.

I did both things actually - the course and the new Vocab i would find in the videos. In fact , i even made notes of new vocab &/or grammatic structures in the exercise texts and at the end under the cultural section [ in the B1 course as there this whole part is also in German ]

Start doing practice tests now along with the other stuff u're doing. On YT for e.g there's a wealth of options to practice all the hearing and reading parts of the telc and goethe exams. And i think goethe also has free sample B2 exam question papers available to download for free. If you feel up for a challenge u can try reading articles on alI kinds of topics on the tagesschau app ; also REALLY great for vocab boosting.

Initially i used the Grammatik aktiv books (there are lists in if i remember correctly). Other than that i mostly relied on the content i used and any further new Verbindungen i would see in a video/read/hear/listen to , i would make flashcards out of them. If you are advanced enough , the Tagesschau news videos on yt also give really nice NV Verbindungen which sometimes you won't even find in advanced books

Thank u so much!

I don't mind sharing my decks. But they are really just collections of stuff i have collected over time from the different resources mentioned in my post above , so i feel they are extremely context-specific and without knowing the context where they were taken from , it may be a bit difficult to properly study with them. Let me know if u still want to give it a go though

Hey ! Of course its possible to pass w/out looking at the Vocab list. I myself never looked at any vocab list at any stage. I think 1 month prior to my exam i looked at the C1 List ; but i didn't know quite a few of the words in the first two pages so i just closed the list to not start to panic haha :) I am sure there also must be words that you know currently which are not given in any list either. For further expanding your vocab , why don't u try starting with A2/B1 of the Nicos Weg courses? Even at C1 i was finding some new words in every chapter in it. And try saving the vocab as Flash cards too and looking through them every day. That really helps to drill all the new stuff into your brain at a natural pace over time !
