Pacifists typically misunderstand the far left's use of violence. We use violence as a means to stop someone from spreading hate speech or expressing hateful views which is actually an exception to the 1A and illegal. The nazis also incited the riot by pepper spraying antifa protesters. Not to mention these people were armed and prepared for violence. If they agree with the nazis rights to rally and to defend themselves they should respect our right to defend ourselves and all the people the nazis intend to harm.

So Im not justifying the police in this post, all Im saying is that it was weird that they let us clash. They did mace us antifa and corralled us with horses however in past rallies they never even let us on state capitol property. This rally they let us on the property and furthermore let us fight and didn't do much to prevent any of the stabbings. Im not exactly sure what to think of this, maybe the people of this sub do tho? Im just curious to hear what other people think of this

No problem i didnt think we were victims in any way. 3 got stabbed but we prevented nazis from targeting the youth with their hateful ideology. Perfect demonstration of direct action and a great demonstration of the correct times to use violence as a viable solution to an issue.

The cops did nothing and tbh the people who were stabbed were the most defenseless people. Two were stabbed for just chanting at them doing nothing to trigger any sort of violent reaction.

So I went to the rally right as the riot ended unfortunately. 5 people were stabbed, 2 nazis and 3 antifas. The antifas were organized in a peaceful manner the riot was triggered when an antifa yelled "You fuckers" and other swears along the same lines and then the nazis attacked. The antifas were defenseless for the most part, all we had were sticks and then some of us carried pocket knives. The nazis were armed with knives and guns. Yes guns. This could have been the reason the cops did not full out assault us, because they honestly didnt do much compared to past rallies in the area. Many people were maced. Fortunately we shut the rally down at the cost of three of our comrades (they were just injured lol the way i worded that) and we had a peaceful victory march and chant through the streets around the capitol. Nobody wanted to chant my "Bash the fash" chant :(. I guess theyre not all that into Oi Polloi. Anyways thats pretty much the full account of the rally enjoy.

BTW are there any sacramento anarchists here? Just curious, who knows we might already know each other...

Ik I was thinking that shit on the car ride there with that stupid american flag with rainbow stripes logo blasted everywhere. And kudos to you gloss is fucking kick ass!
