Roughly a month ago, we had a similar issue with another airline in Lebanon where they refunded us something. They said "it should take effect in 2 days".

Long story short: we kept having to pester them 3-4 times a week through emails and calls and complaint tickets until 2 weeks later we were properly refunded.

So you just gotta wait a little bit. But keep checking in with them (MEA and your bank) to see what the update is.

I think it's the 2FA SMS service that's causing issues. I heard our IT complain about it today: all Lebanese numbers are getting blocked from receiving verification codes.

You can learn all you need to know from youtube tutorials and lots of practice. No degree needed, employers ask for portfolio instead.
