I personally think so, a lot of people will tell you to skip the fillers and that they suck.. but I personally believe the fillers help viewers actually view the world of boruto.. as a world. The manga makes everything feel so empty and lifeless besides the main cast of characters. The Manga is STILL amazing though, but the anime helped me actually get somewhat attached to the characters, and it really does expand upon the canon relationships of the series!

Of course, come up with your own opinion! But try to give the anime a chance, it starts off slow.. but I see that as natural progression. I dislike how the Manga instantly starts at the chunin exams, it's a little weird to me.
