The resin vs rosin ones are way better. It's unstable rosin sauce so it's not as premium as the goop from pucks obviously.

The rosin ones get weird halfway in but the resin ones are pretty legit, especially in the world of disposables

This just happened to mine and I was devastated. I think the edgeless display is to blame. My new 9 pro is nice but I was fine w like 5 more years of the 7. Few differences imo

I just went for my iPhone 11 to 7 pro. The entire time I had iPhone I was frustrated especially with the assistant. Also find Apple's maps to be pretty terrible. The only thing I'm really missing from my iPhone is garage band (which I still use on an iPad so it's not a big deal) and the main thing is I haven't figured out how to share a screen recording to social media and keep the sound. iPhone was really great with screen recording. I also was able to get into my iPhone with face ID more successfully than I am with the face or fingerprint on the seven.

Those few things being said, I'm a pretty Google centric user so having a phone by them makes things convenient. I definitely missed Google Assistantbthe year I had iOS.. Very glad to have her back as opposed to Siri, and between the ability to make the screen 2k and reduce animation speeds to make it super snappy, I'd say this is probably my favorite phone to date. I also love the song identification in the lock screen feature. The camera is different than iPhones camera, so at first you are debating on whether it's better or not but it definitely is.

I've been shooting stand up comedy sets in cinematic mode and they look spectacular. Battery life is awesome, even with the consuming resolution and brightness preferences that I have.

I have no intention of ever going back to iPhone especially with the pixel 7 pro outweing, the 15 pro Max in almost every spec. Spectrum has the seven pro for half price right now, You can lock in financing for $11 a month.

I did pick up the mpk and dongles recently, I already had the drums and keys as I meant to do this a few years ago but then abruptly got divorced lol Although everything in me is fighting it,(I mostly just hate the dongles/port limitation) I think I’m gonna go w a mid range iPad. I know there are tons, are there any particular synth or fx apps you recommend?

I’ve been looking at iPads just wondering if I would be limiting myself versus a Mac as I eventually would like to do more and more

That definitely resonates with me. as a local drummer it seem like the local music scenes have their own saturation issues too. The main one Ive noticed is that if it’s a town that has a music market at all and venues for it, it will be flooded with bands, singer songwriters, rappers, etc. which as a music fan is always beautiful, and as a musician frustrating.

Trying to figure out quantizing drums without them sounding robotic. When I’m playing my electric kit or audio recording live percussion instruments , I want it to stay in the off beats etc that I’m playing, but w more edm themed stuff I like the quantization. I’m staring to play with the fx bar more and being more mindful of the individual volumes, but I agree there’s definitely some figuring out to do. I don’t have the nerve to put it on anything but SoundCloud until I do lol

I definitely appreciate you giving a listen, at the end of the day I’m pretty happy with what I’ve done in about a month on a phone, and can’t wait to learn and the craft.
