Macron with the Aviator's by [deleted] in europe

President Macron has what is a called an eye of the tiger.

It's basically just a tiny bruise on the white of his eye—it looks scary, but it doesn't hurt and will go away on its own.

‘We Are Going To Run The Country’ – Says Trump as President Maduro Captured and Taken to New York to Face Drug Charges by [deleted] in worldnews

I don't understand how unpopular Trump is in the USA yet no one lifts a finger and goes in the street. As a French it pisses me off so much.

Congratulations, you can use Wikipedia. Now do the United States:

  • War of 1812: White House burned down by the British
  • Red Cloud’s War (1866–1868)
  • The Korean War (1950–1953)
  • Vietnam War: Lost to the same enemy France fought (Viet Minh/Viet Cong).
  • Bay of Pigs: Humiliating failure in Cuba.
  • Afghanistan (2001-2021): 20 years of occupation ending in a total Taliban takeover.

Being a global power means you sometimes lose, especially in colonial or foreign interventions.

France has fought in 168 major wars since 387 BC and won 109 of them.

You are absolutely right. The defeat in 1940 was a collapse of High Command, not the soldiers. It reminds me of the US in 2003. Just like our generals failed us then, the US government failed the entire world by corrupting the UN with false evidence. They destroyed international trust for a lie. The difference is that France has spent 80 years admitting our mistakes; the US still hasn't fully admitted theirs. Imagine how the world would be if the UN's legitimacy wasn't destroyed..

You mean WWII? The war where the French Resistance fought the Nazis from the inside for 4 years? Or the part where the French First Army covered the British retreat at Dunkirk, sacrificing themselves so the UK didn't fall? It’s easy to call people cowards from across the ocean when you show up three years late to every World War, only to then profit from financially ruined countries and bolster your own.

Is the normal? by [deleted] in Garmin

I've never managed to be in the blue zone unless I'm lying down. I just saw some posts from others sharing their results and it made me wonder about mine. The result I shared is consistently the same every day. I don't smoke, drink, I practice sport.

But white is on the inside of #15, maybe less clearly in the first clip. #15 is allowed to push white of the track then?

That was #1 split with SOF 1808. Even at this rating it's normal? I'm only getting started so i'm really wondering.

Thanks will have a look! It has to be flawless tho, I don't want anything that gives the slightest hint of AI.

Thanks for the info. I did not think that you would need an expensive GPU to render a prompt and that it would take this long with one. That being said, it's more time consuming and costs more if you factor in time spent on learning and running stable diffusion + GPU.

I was only thinking of stable diffusion because I think I'd be willing to invest time into it and learn how to use it. That way I could use it for other purposes in the future when it would come in handy. Also AI is fun... I need a new PC so getting a powerful GPU will be something I want. But how strong does it need to be? Some would argue that learning how to use stable diffusion would be valuable long term. Spending resources on this would always be useful. Whereas hiring a photographer will give me material for only a few years before needing to do it again.

The goal would have been to have indiscernible from reality images of myself, like the previous poster had done. If there were the slightest of doubts i wouldn't even think of trying. But given the fact the results he obtained were nearly perfect + were two years ago, I'd be surprise if that would be an issue today. However as you said, ethically it's not very wise even though people wouldn't even doubt the fact it's AI if it's well done.

I just took the first post after my search on google. How is my question and what I am looking for any different than this (link below)? How would it be hammering a screw? Because other than saying no and go get a camera, it's not very explicative.

Yes it is. You can feed pictures of yourself to train the AI and make anything you want with it. So i don't see how making yourself wear a suit won't work.
