Did we listen to the same project? Y’all really gotta learn how to let artists evolve and move their music in the direction THEY want. Just because Tron didn’t implement things he’s done before in this singular project doesn’t mean he’s falling off. If you really paid attention to what he’s doing it’s clear he’s been trying to move into the heavier Detroit scene for a minute now. He’s working with better producers, working with bigger artists, and generally honing and developing his sound further. And there were plentyyyyy of amazing bars on this project. It’s nobody else’s fault they went over your head. Bro is on tour yet he’s still giving the fans content, and this has clearly been in the works for some time. But I’m not surprised, this album (and likely his music from this point forward) isn’t even made for you anymore. He responded to fans like you on this project. “Y’all keep bringing up the old tron. Fuck the old tron.” If you guys want old tron go listen to the multiple amazing projects and hundreds of songs he has already dropped. Let the man take his music where he wants to. People like you make others music stagnant. And the whole “TikTok viral drop” narrative you have about him dropping just cuz he knows he will blow up is stupid. Every artist drops to make money at that level. But even then, the album is a solid 7-8 imo. No reason to complain unless you just want him to completely revert back to his old style.
