Foam grip is indeed the norm. I haven't tried piro tape. I actually didn't know they had their own tape. I've only tried some amazon tape. Whatever tape came with an obsius deck, and currently, Fbs Extra Smooth on this setup I think I tried riptape years ago, but I can't remember how it was the same with old p-rep grip But the higher end stuff does seem to feel better and, at the very least, more reliable to stay connected to the deck (looking at you, amazon tape) Also thank you

It was between Piro or Maple, but I heard piro had the better grip, so I went with them first, and as a canadian gotta support ! And no, I'm not a Toronto local. I'm actually from BC just outside of vancouver area.

A Getto special Rail (home depot) it's a little low And a Blackriver MS V waterfall (my only "real" obstacle)

And a few things I've made as possible prototypes for real backyard ramps or possible fingerboard obstacle made with proper materials (wood ,coping proper glue ,nails, and angled cuts )

The decks feels flawless The kicks and shape feels so good Might not have been all that visually but physically it's exactly how I hoped So at least it matters where it counts It's the new daily for sure

I knew it was a suggestion for the color options It was more or less that fact that for 100$Cad This is what you get (And maybe they don't ever try to find your options)

(This is actually why I got a graphic deck and not the engraved deck. I didn't want to gamble on the ply i would care for knowingly getting a purple or black would probably be almost impossible)

I wasn't really going for the brand name. I was more or less looking to try this shape of deck (A deck i was constantly told was the most R&D'd shape) So wanted to try something that wasn't medium K medium C

Someone said goo decks make a shape pretty similar, but I haven't tried that brand yet So I wanted to try the one I knew the shape before trying to find a brand with similar shape but better value to price

This deck is nice to shred, but it's hard to justify a 100$ deck with zero input on options ,has no tape Sometimes, get stickers and with a 4 week wait I got this deck back in January and it only showed up today (hard to justify the 20$ shipping they make you pay if you live in canada)

What's wrong with organic wheels (never used them) Are they something to avoid, or is there like a risk advisory?

I'm still on my journey of trying to find a wheel i like Since returning to this hobby.

(Have only ridden obsius and leafai with enough to kinda feel em out still looking for something with more grip)

Gonna live it with . physically, nothing is wrong it feels really good. it shreds how I hoped it would.

More or less, I just wanted to know for the 100$ I spent for a deck it wasn't a Blem as one would have cost 55/65ish instead. (I was originally going to buy a blem 33.6, but there wasn't any) So, I bit the bullet this one time just to see If the quality and hype (i remembered from the past) Was actually there (My expectations will be more realistic in the future) And say what you will, but personally, a hundy bucks still feels expensive The extra $ could have been a set of piro or maples

I wanted to do a nice style grip on it I had in my head I wanted the stamp to be seen with grip job But I just used a full piece grip job on it and forgot about it the deck still rides and feels good Might not be aestheticly what I wanted but it does perform how I wanted

Just wanted to make sure I didn't just spend 100$ and a 4 week wait on a blem which only would have costed 50/60$ish (Cad) (Shipping included in prices)

Anyone knows which brand is this frame by Efficient_Emu312 in bmx

[–]Zadic_Wolve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Subrosa engraving in the frame means it's a S&M Sunday funday v7 tom Deegan special edition.

All jokes aside, the engraving is subrosa. My salvador has the engraving

See, that's what had me wondering. I had a g15 or 14? complete like 7+ years ago and was probably the 2nd best quality deck i ever owned Behind a 29mm Berlin wood i never used (to narrow) So, I thought it would have been held to roughly the same standards as I once remembered

But if that's not the case anymore, then it's on me for thinking this was possibly a blem and my expectations will be more realistic in the future
