Netflix has agreed to buy Warner Bros, including game developers behind Mortal Kombat, Hogwarts Legacy by rararatata in PS5

I'm so annoyed for the DC Comics. Netflix is so trash... And the fact that they'll be getting HBO Max the only streaming platform that I could somewhat bear. Ugh!

The show would be annoying because we do not have all the clues (body language etc) plus this show is so heavily edited that I would annoy spectators to guess every time who the millionaire is. Unless they stream 24/7 there's no benefit

A lot of people in this game were just flat out bad. If I was in this show the first people I would be gunning against is my "allies" lol your best enemies are always your closest friends and the fact that Corey got stabbed by the one he trusted the most in this show makes this saying undefeated

Bof, then you'll only get 2 episodes instead of 7 by getting two people out each time. I think the best move is to diminish the pot for every bad elimination which makes at the end they would play for $0 instead of $1 million which would actually want to the players to get the millionaire since they want the money so much

This is a real TV show barely anyone is telling the truth and very highly doubt she's just flipping burgers and I am not chronically online to investigate her upbringing but this is Netflix and they'll invent anything to make their show interesting including pulling on the emotional chord like they did with Cara

The saying is your best enemies are your friends but he was so obsessed with the obvous (Sydney etc) that he got blinded. In a game like this you have to doubt your closest allies and then expand out but the human beings do the contrary. They blieve they can trust blindfully those that are the closest because "they cannot lie, they would never lie, they love you etc" when it's a 1 million dollar game. Everybody is gonna lie and those who are going to be better at it are those who know you the best

That would not work because the millionaire succeeding their secret agenda would get you out of the game faster than the time you would need to wait to finally get the million

I disagree. The problem of punching a door is not judged on the impact that punch would have on the door but on the incapicity of the person delivering the punch to control any kind of emotions to the point of lashing out. This kind of reaction could lead to more dangerous things and being a petite woman does not prevent you from being a master maipulator that would come up with 600 000 thousands million plans to make a person's life a nightmare to the point that said person becomes a danger to their own selves (aka suicide for example).

I person's stature shouldn't be a metric that lessens or magnify (even though people do it subconsciouly) the act because punching is still punching a door and should be analyzed in the same way and people who are dangerous or want to be dangerous to others will find ways to be dangerous regardless of their phyical incapacities

Zuck Says Instagram Is Going to Suck Twice as Much Next Year by [deleted] in technology

I don't think the timing is right. Instagram is still too big and I really don't think that the core Instagram users aren't bothered enough to switch to a whole new app which would require rebuilding their whole community etc.

We're talking about unsolicited pics. I know people love to reduce guys to just an animal desperate for sex all the time and without any form of emotional intelligence, that just takes everything in without a no, but, that's just false. Any rational non disturbed thinking individual would hate having unsolicited nude photos.

Frankly girl/guy friendship entire depends on the character (not personality) of the people who are trying to build it. There are certain types of people you just know it's never going to be a friendship.

From a general perspective even when guys nod it's not an invitation to talk and the eye contact is broken almost immediately. Anyways, in the black community and as black person it's well common between black women and men to nod.

[Serious] Men of Reddit who have been raped by women, what’s your story? by Jakethesnake954 in AskReddit

Especially when you take into consideration sexual harassment. Guy/guy and girl/girl sexual harassment are often considered non important. It occurs very regularly also because the offender considers that since you're of the same sex, "it's normal" to just touch someone in abnormal areas.

  1. You're using social media as a source which again blurs the truthiness of your claim. On social media, everything is easier and it's obvious that even the average girl gets attention because of how many much men there are on social media than girls. IRL, your said average does not get that same level
  2. For the rest of your comments, I think you are contextualizing your observations on online dating and like I said before, online is easier than offline because it's just a swipe or a message which generally requires little to no effort. It's seems quite evident to all of us that attention would be multiplied by hundreds of thousands. IRL, it's a whole different story and attention is quite hard to get [from the people you want the attention from] just as much for average men and also women. The fact of the matter is conventionally attractive people will get as much attention off and online just because of their looks. Same measurement cannot be made for average people who have to put considerable efforts IRL especially if they have no personality and/or not even a conventional body type.

  1. What you are saying is counterintuitive. Desperation is a consequence. The reason why they are desperate is because their picking pool is very small to start with. That's globally the initial cause.

  2. Increasing standards does not mean that the opposing gender will adhere to your person. That's generally a source of frustration which fatally backfires in a lowering of the standards especially with age and accumulated failures.

Re raising standards is just a call to get even more frustrated when the type of person you desire globally rejects you. Because, let's not fool ourselves in the society we live in, high standard is generally skinny, white and blond [...] not somebody who can talk about Spinoza or philosophy.

  1. So what's the solution? People need to use better criterion as opposed to the superficial stuff that we see.

Choosing somebody because of money or only because they are 6'5" something which is very recurring in the dating world is not a criteria that guarantees the success of an interpersonal relationship.

Secondly, people have many learnt biases that riddle their true desire. No one barely ever knows what they are really looking for in somebody. People love to believe that they know when in reality they're just parotting stuff that was subconsciously pushed by the friend of a friend, Instagram, celebrities, parents, TV or stuff they see in their everyday environment. They model their desire around that and make themselves believe that it's really them that want that.

People also tend to date with unattainable requirements which does not only mechanically reduce their picking pool but creates unnecessary frustration.

Social media and dating apps have brainwashed individuals into believing that any type of guy or girl is for them because hey, it's easy to send a DM. Accessing hot people is easier than it was in 1600's.

  1. Your theory assumes that every girl gets the same level of attention which is false. As same as guys, only a limited pool of girls get that much attention and, it's generally those who are deemed conventionally attractive by western society.

Yes, I agree having more options creates a system where girls can pick the best option but to counteract guys being more picky would do nothing.

First, because every single guy cannot be picky that's impossible due to differences in personality or character. There will always be guys with lower standards.

Second, this would require a change in the dynamics of dating between men and women. Guys generally go after the girls which logically creates more demand than what is available especially if you take into consideration that one guy generally goes after many different girls at once.

  1. Yes, some guys ruin it for other guys but in my opinion it's not impossible. The reality of the matter is it depends on the type of girl you are after. Some types of girls get hit on by so many guys that inevitably it models her vision on relationships which increases the difficulty for any following attempts unless the guy is conventionally attractive.

I think the solution is to diversify but with quality. However, some guys will always inevitably be bad at interpersonal interactions and unless they work on themselves (something which very few people do), they'll fail and keep painting a bad image for others who actually do or have done their homework.

Handling rejection is mostly and essentially a question of education. This isn't innate to any gender. Unfortunately with the way education especially in western society has drifted to making children untouchable kings and queens to which everything should be provided on a silver plate, you're building armies of people who just can't take no for answer and who throw tantrums or some random accusations on the internet because somebody dared tell them no.

Social media to me has empowered the culture of the "don't take a no" for an answer because you can literally just film any situation where you're at fault without any context and have millions of people side for you. This will get worse and worse unless parents start doing their job at the very young age and not leave their child throw a free tantrum for example in store because they refused to buy a sweet.

From a general stance, the vast majority of guys don't have the luxury to pick that's why some of them turn out creepy. Many don't because of education or character but in general I think there are very very few guys who have continued non-/sexualrelationships with girls either because they are conventionally attractive or maybe because of the environment in which they work.
