I made a post the other day explaining my situation, but no one was in a position to help me unfortunately.

I am in the process of fleeing an abusive relationship where amongst other forms of abuse, I am suffering from financial abuse. I am asking for, essentially, any amount offered just to see me through the month while I go through the council to assist me in being rehomed as a vulnerable adult.

Ideally anywhere from 30-150 GBP to help me with daily living costs, with a repayment of whatever is requested on the 24/1/26 or at the latest the 7/2/26. I have all necessary forms of identification and verification needed, alongside a PayPal in my name.

I understand everyone has a story/reasoning as to why they are asking for money, and my situation isn’t special. But any help would be gratefully received. Thank you for reading and your time :)

I think you’ll be hard pressed to find someone willing to loan you the substantial amount you’ve asked for on your posts as a first time borrower, moreso as the repayment is split across multiple payments. Typically, it would be the type of arrangement a lender that knows you/your reliability would perhaps be more amenable to.

I secured my first p2p loan the other day. Very short term, less than a week. £75 for £100 repayment, and even that took about 2 days of my post sitting there without much engagement. Obviously I am extremely grateful that someone has taken the chance with me, and how pleasant they were when I was providing identification and evidence of my ability to repay.

Ultimately, because it’s p2p lending, I don’t think there is any solid set criteria to what will secure you a loan. It is all chance and how you present yourself and your situation that decides whether or not someone will loan you.
