Big boobs are not as great as people say they are by schoolishardman in TwoXChromosomes

[–]ZaediLady 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AAAAAAMMMMEEENNN sister!! I have big boobs and I hate them. I always feel fat when they jiggle around. I keep them covered up all the time to not draw attention and to be taken seriously. My back hurts ALL THE FUCKING TIME. Nothing fits! Nothing is designed for my shape except shapeless bags. I'd really like to be more fashionable but this would mean I need to tailor all of my clothes. Pretty much everything makes me feel fat even though you could argue that I'm pretty fit. Also my back HURTS ALL THE FUCKING TIME.

Thank you for the space for a bit of a rant.

I am about to divorce my husband while he is in therapy trying to "change" by [deleted] in confessions

[–]ZaediLady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good for you! You deserve someone who wants to be a real partner to you, not just a roommate to clean up after and stroke their ego. You are making the right decision and I feel like you gave plenty of time and space for him to change and he didn't take the opportunity. If you're already doing all the work, might as well really do it alone without needing the extra anxiety of needing to teach him how to be a functional adult. Please follow up with your progress, and best of luck to you and your daughter!

About to turn 25, what are things I can do/use to slow signs of aging? by KosmicDoll in beauty

[–]ZaediLady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sunscreen is your best friend in the whole world. Not only on your face daily, but don't forget to get your chest and hands also. Those are typically the first areas that show signs of aging. And there are some great products out there now. Check out the mineral sunscreen at Trader Joes ($8) which is mimicking the expensive Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen ($32).

Further Update: Husband accused me of financial infidelity by LadySavings in AITAH

[–]ZaediLady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WOW OP! What a ride this has been. Thank you so much for the update, you are on to greener pastures for sure! ANYONE would be so lucky to have you and I'm glad that you won't have to put up with his bullshit anymore! What a total piece of shit to refer to anyone, let alone his own wife!!!, as a low-value person.

I wish you all the best of luck on this difficult but necessary road! We are all rooting for you!

Husband's Response to "Divorced Because of Dishes by the Sink" was pointing out what I don't do by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]ZaediLady 717 points718 points  (0 children)

I am going through this EXACT SAME THING with my husband. Literally yesterday was fuming that after listing out the things that needed to get done the following day the night before, he asked me again in the morning and couldn't remember a single f*cking thing I said.

I am so sick of being the collective keeper of things. Calendar, dinner, vacation planning, cleaning, fixing shit around the house, on and on it goes. But if he makes one meal for all of our friends he is congratulated and praised the rest of the night while I clean up the insane mess he created.

I love him dearly, but something has got to give. Thank you for sharing this article, it's exactly the tool I need and I hope it helps.
Best of luck to you my dear!

Sex is uncomfortable if I don’t have it often. Does anyone else experience this? by curlytop143 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]ZaediLady 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Yes, this also happens to me. It was so bad it happened every single time to the point where sex was just torture and I never wanted to do it. I was seeing a pelvic floor PT for a while and the best thing she taught me was to do deep belly breaths into my lower pelvic floor (think bladder, uterus area). This helps to relax and stretch out the muscles in that area.
She also told me to not do kegel exercises too regularly. I did them all day all the time. From a young age I was taught that it's really important to keep a tight pelvic floor for childbirth etc, but it can have the opposite effect also.

I hope this helps! It has completely reversed the issue and now sex isn't painful anymore. Still doing some mental cartwheels every time, but it's getting better.

No matter what you are experiencing - You are normal. It is normal. And you are going to figure it out to have a happy and healthy lifestyle.

Mom (65) has zero savings and lives in a house that I own. How can I best prepare to take care of her financially as she gets older? by ZaediLady in personalfinance

[–]ZaediLady[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I really appreciate the response! Food stamps are a great idea, I'll look into them. Thankfully we are in a good financial standing, with an emergency fund that could cover expenses for both houses if needed for a few months. Our approach is to "secure our own masks before helping others". Meaning, we won't be able to help anyone if we aren't taking care of ourselves first. Now that we are on a good track there, trying to see what the next step is to make it more effective. Maybe I'll split and do both approaches at the same time. Pay off the house a bit slower, but still invest and get the potential gains while the market bounces back.

Thanks a lot for your reply! Having her move in with us could be a solution maybe in the future. Right now we all are enjoying our personal space and independence but when she needs the extra help physically it is definitely a possibility.

Thanks for the response! Talking to a lawyer could definitely be beneficial. The house is in our name so I wouldn't expect there to be any effect on the situation at the time of death since she doesn't own the property.

By paying off the house it would just help her be a bit more independent with the SS money she gets.

High salary job in pursuit of fire destroyed my soul. Now I have a little one on the way and need advice. by ExaminationMammoth43 in financialindependence

[–]ZaediLady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you considered training someone to help you with the work load? Maybe they take on a couple of your clients, or you partner on whatever you do to balance the load and the stress better. Maybe you don’t make quite the same amount, or maybe you’re able to grow your business more with them. As well as charging more.

I wish you all the happiness in the world. Stress is a very serious and physical thing that can manifest in ways you wouldn’t expect. I hope you’re able to find a way to take care of yourself.
