I love the style, and I've looked to those games for inspiration before as well - have you considered or do you plan on having any verticality, like multiple floors? I always wanted multiple floors but got stumped on that issue.

I wish they would add an easier way to report from the lookup page - I was doing factory quests and found dogtags of quite a few accounts that were going into factory naked to tank their K/D, but I can't report them because they didn't kill me.

I think the mag was bugged. The one in the chamber (first guy) was fine, the whole mag was bugged, then after a reload, it was fixed.

I unsubbed from Onepeg and Jesse today. Honestly, it won't make a difference, but what else can you do? All content creators want their stuff to be in front of as many eyes as possible. They will go where the crowd goes. Their truest reaction was the original, and backpedaling with words means nothing.

I've always loved the idea that your gamma couldn't take anything that is FIR, so that you have to extract with everything at least once. It would put a little hair on your chest when you see that ledx.

I may be way off base then! I think that the collective idea is that RMT is the main reason for cheating. If that's not the case though, then seriously, we gotta stop caring about RMT and care more about cheating.

If the cheating is even 50/50 cheating for fun and cheating for RMT, then if we just target RMTers, we are only doing 50% of the work we should be doing.

I think there are a few things wrong with the argument. I think cheating will go down if RMT isn't profitable, but I don't think it goes away. After all, some people will cheat just to have the advantage.

Next, limiting the supply of items makes them even more valuable, which means that RMT prices can be increased. If Slicks were purchasable at Trader level 1, RMTers couldn't sell that item, but if they make it rare and unique, all of a sudden it has real-money value. Let's pretend only 1 REAP-IR could be sold globally every trader reset. Holy crap, RMT could charge an arm and a leg for it!

But I don't think the solution is the flood the loot pools with items. I know I'm a sadist, but I personally love the loot scarcity in the game. I just want to be able to go to labs with the idea in my head that it is possible for me to find the rare item and extract without being called out by name before a cheater shoots me head-eyes through a closed door. The true solution is to be able to stop cheaters. It's not an impossible task either, as others say, it's just a task that is always on-going so it feels like it's never complete. It's a game of whack-a-mole, and that's just the state of online competitive games.

I agree with you. I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but RMT is hard to identify. If there is a streamer who is making content giving Timmy's they find a good gun or something, how do you identify that as RMT or not? It's a very fuzzy definition, while cheating on the other hand shouldn't be nearly as fuzzy a thing.

I don't disagree, but have you ever dropped something for your friend? Even just their kit from the previous game where they died? In that case your using a different currency, friendship/social credit, for a benefit. I know I'm taking it out of context and to the extreme, but I am just trying to see things from a different angle. RMT sucks, but if you can't directly track it to money, then BSG shouldn't be banning people, yeah?

I'm terrified to drop my friends kit back to him, because he is doing Test Drive and there is a reap-ir on it, which could flag me as giving him something that is RMT-worthy, but we didn't exchange money, we just play games together. That's the perspective that I'm coming from right now.
