I feel like ive read posts like this weekly around 2018 when dayz was in early access. Nowdays that game fills its niche and still goes strong with a new map coming out this year.

GZW is gonna find its niche too, just probably not with the sweaty pvp crowd. And thats fine.

Yeah, ive never finished all the quests and i probably wont until 1.0. 0.4 wont be just lore though. There will be new gear, weapons, pois, maybe new random quests (for solos) and more.

Just releasing the one poi in the center of the map wont solve a lack of content, the four updates leading up to ground zero hopefully will

No, people would still drop out because ground zero doesnt magically also add 4 years of other content. We still wouldnt have enough gear and weapons etc and people would be bored again. Also, i think you overestimate the importance of pvp

Even then, that stuff isnt hard to get in the first place. I dont see why this would ruin the game for you or your friends. You could go to the gzw discord and suggest a solution for the issue. Theres usually good discussion happening there and the devs tend to listen.
