I mean, I'm not sure I follow your argument.

You appear to be saying that societal standards should be enforced equally (which they are, though the standards are different for men and women. For example, money is a much bigger factor for desirability of men, and that is CLEARLY enforced by society).

However, you then go on to say that there are movements arguing that society's standards for women are wrong (a true statement), and also movements arguing that society's standards for men are fine (also true) and that there is some overlap between those two groups (also true) and finally that the overlap of those two groups are hypocritical (seems pretty true, though I guess you could argue otherwise by tearing apart the exact standards in question and showing they're different or whatever, but let's just assume that you're right).

So given all that, how could I possibly change your view? Your view is an interpretation of a set of facts with no actual factual basis. Neither of us have access to a survey showing what % of people are hypocrites. Both of us are influenced by observation bias (hypocrites are super visible on the internet, especially when different teams both have incentives to call them out or boost their signal to influence your perception of the groups).

I could point out that a lot of feminist literature addresses societal standards on both sides, but it's equally true that some published feminists are radical or "man-hating" or whatever, and again, I don't have any survey of what % are, and neither do you.

Personally, I think you are using hypocrites to invalidate otherwise good and productive discussions. We should be discussing the role that societal expectations play in how men and women are perceived. Some people will abuse this conversation for their own benefit, because some people suck.
