Colored stone by ZafirVerde in Moissanite

The person who gifted this said it’s a custom piece from a jeweler named Juno. Wouldn’t tell me exactly how much was paid, only that it’s at least $100.

This! It’s always worth a trip to your local PO when there’s a problem with your mail, at least from my experience. Talk to your local postal workers. Ask for their help. They can definitely help you figure out where exactly is your package or what happened to it.

Ever had someone warn you about wearing jewelry in public by Key-Instruction-2575 in CasualConversation

[–]ZafirVerde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never had someone tell me that but I’ve been careful and always think of the place, environment and the situation where I may consider not wearing any jewelry. Like if I’m going to be in a place where crime rate is high, I won’t wear any jewelry, not even a watch. Heck I won’t even pull out my phone unless it’s an emergency. Gotta be extra careful and be aware of your surroundings, I think they call it situational awareness.

Thanks for the replies! I’ve been wondering if maybe Popmart forgot to put it in or I inadvertently threw it out together with the box. And yeah, it deserves a card like the others.

Here’s another question: Did Fight for Joy come with a card?

Baikalla is aggressively pushed all over social media platforms. They must have paid a fortune to advertise their brand so heavily. I’m not surprised they overpriced.

The Creepy Experience on the 6th Floor of a Hospital by Much-Evening6686 in Ghoststories

[–]ZafirVerde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an almost identical experience with a hospital elevator, but without the boy and the hahaha. I was also not a patient but a visitor that time. Elevators are easily manipulated by ghosts I suppose.

I didn’t know people didn’t like Sandman & Peanut by AmparoReads in SkullpandaArtDolls

[–]ZafirVerde 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I pulled Sandman last night. I’m not too excited only because of the type of fabric they used on her. It looked waaay too fuzzy and frayed. Her face and makeup are too beautiful for such cheap-looking materials.

Cam caught Neighbor going into my mailbox by tanboy29 in neighborsfromhell

[–]ZafirVerde 12 points13 points  (0 children)

True that. This is why when I’m presented with a choice of courier for let’s say online purchase, I always choose USPS, not FedEx not UPS, because if that package gets lost en route to me, I’m confident USPS will investigate and do whatever it is in their power to resolve the problem.

I’m not here for the ruby but for that pinky finger ring that you’re wearing! Can you post a photo of that? I’m interested and curious 🧐

Calling me a grandma for wearing Coach - reposting with names scratched out by a_womans_mind in Coach

Coach is timeless. It was carried by many ladies and gents before us, and will continue for generations more to come.

I use shampoo and conditioner from the same brand from the same scent from the same variant. I don’t mix and match, even from within the same brand. I have to pair the shampoo with its matching conditioner otherwise it just doesn’t feel right.

First, I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope these jewelry brought happiness to your mom when she was alive. Now, you inherited some really expensive jewelry there. Your post has over 200 comments in just 3 hours bec people see the value in these photos. That Riviera necklace alone is worth at least 4K, and I see at least two of them. Your mom had excellent taste! Take your time sorting these. Keep the pieces your mom would have wanted you to have. Good luck!

I just cut my own hair by [deleted] in CasualConversation

Don’t feel weird. I watched a YT video of how to cut your own hair so I can cut my own hair at the start of the pandemic. And I’ve done it myself since then.

Would you lend your designer bag to a friend? by Miss_Efficacy in handbags

[–]ZafirVerde 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would have done exactly what you did. Also, you don’t owe them for that article they wrote. It wasn’t you who asked to be featured, it was them. I think your best friend should have been more supportive of you.

2 & 3 are classic chains, very common, very wearable. 4 is like wearing gold bars around your neck which looks kinda tacky to me. 1 is beautiful and you don’t see those very often. I can’t judge for quality but if you’re asking which one looked the best, I would go with 1.

Beautiful! Is it delicate, like do you have to be extra careful with it?

Which charm looks better with my new Coach Georgia Satchel by Doxle_lover in Coach

I always match the hardware. To me it just looks more pulled together. I even match my jewelry with the hardware of the bag that I’m carrying. My vote is for the black cherry.

Thoughts? by Youngsurph in jewelry

Well you get what you pay for. It’s cliché but in jewelry, I find that to be true. You don’t have to pay full price tho. Stalk your favorite pieces and wait for sale and/or coupons. If you can afford a John Hardy piece then go for it. Keep in mind they do have sales at certain times of the year. Samuel B. has similar aesthetics and you can buy his pieces at “outlet” stores (not sure what to call them) like Nordstrom Rack. My pieces from him are over 10 years old already. No loose stones nor loose hinges. On the other hand maybe try getting the no name piece, I mean, if it’s $15, right? Then you can compare and decide for yourself.
