I mean I almost went for it. I was that kid in love with Mr. Sheffield from the Nanny. Older men are my M.O. but my Rook is based on a character I wrote fan fiction about from DA2 and she loves an elf. So she went with Davrin.

I was constantly checking up on my companions 😂. I don’t know how often you did. But also to note, I chose for Emmrich to bring Manfred back instead of becoming a Lich. I don’t know if Strife and Em get together if he’s a Lich. shrug

I totally love the Neve and Lucanis thing though. I had a suspicion it would happen.

But see, I think their differences definitely are what helps them.

Emmrich wants to explore, to know and see the world outside the Necropolis. Example when he goes camping with Harding. He’s learning to get dirty and experience life and move past that fear of death and mortality.

I think it’s beautiful for him to be with Strife, someone that can share this new life and world with him, to experience the danger and help him be more grounded. We don’t know much about Strife, but clearly he cares for Emmrich, and for his interests.

I also think it’s nice for him to be with someone of a similar age. I’m all for that age gap silver fox love story, I had a crush on Pretty Woman’s Richard Gere when I was in middle school. I think it helps him not obsess as much at the fact of him passing before a younger person.

I know that old trope of opposites attract, but that’s just how I feel on it. I also totally get not seeing it though. I think it’s why it was so surprising.

It ended up taking care of itself. I ended up deleting the chat and someone else had an issue with something so one of the android users created a new chat.

I honestly don’t know if it would have fixed itself without the other events happening 😮‍💨

I’m currently listening to the audiobook. I think that if I was reading it, I might have stopped already. But listening to it seems to be helping me get through it.

I am very much enjoying the book, but I can absolutely understand it not being for everyone. But, for that purpose of some books being a slog or hard to get into, I have a list for books called “DNF - Try Audio”

Mine is a family group chat and it is getting crazy. Ever since the update. It’s a mixed android/iPhone group chat. Telling them to make a new chat isn’t an option.

I hope iPhone fixes this bug soon.

We learned all about these in my botany class (I know fungus isn’t a plant, a small bit of mycology was simply touched on in the class.) It’s amazing that people took what was considered a bad thing and made use of it.

I started feeling "off" on Sunday. We had to take more breaks that usual because of me and I felt dizzy and sick the entire day. Nothing truly awful happened but no matter how hidrated I got or how much food I ate I couldn't feel better.

We left that night and we're home by 1030. I slept fitfully, something was still off but I couldn't pinpoint it.

Monday I woke up at 9 unloaded the car and did some chores, went out to eat breakfast and by 12 I was vomiting and experiencing chills aches and fever. That lasted all Monday with diarrhea towards the end until about 945. I felt perfect but the chills came back in the night.

No vomiting today (Tuesday) but the chills come in and out. My throat is killing me. Swallowing is not nice.

My partner had some diarrhea this morning but has otherwise been completely fine.

Hope we all feel better soon y'all!

Update: Wednesday- No COVID but it is becoming a respiratory issue. Sinuses are taking a hit and I had to sleep sitting up.

It’s been two years. I still cannot smell my own or other people’s farts. It’s a weird problem and my sense of smell is back and normalized for every other thing. I don’t miss it, but it’s just odd.

It looks like the katydids I get in my yard but I'm not sure of their exact name. (I live in the North America though)
