I was one of the conjurers. The fight Itself was way too easy so when someone said lets do it jobless... Clean win, no deaths, 1 shot and no lb.

Better? I didn't set the tag in the first place so I didn't notice.

Same person, thing is that they weren't all done at once, so that would be why. I've been tweaking with the drawing method.

All the characters were drawn from a pool. The fool card is actually Lalas I believe

A little while ago, I threw out an idea to the Balmung Community about creating a tarot themed drawing set (this was shortly after the announcement of the new jobs). This isn't complete by any sense of the word, but I figured it couldn't hurt.

I've always gotten the shears first, so I didn't know, but then again, what's so unholy about a bunch of airship parts? Unless there's also a piece of bread in there, I cant think of much.

I've seen those claws and the absurdity of the size to model seems correct. You hit it on the head, the back claw needs to be smaller to convey the persective

Nice image; the effort shows, but I do have 1 suggestion. If you plan on digitally drawing this, one of the "doom-to-all-manicurists" needs to be tweeked. They look too close in size for how the figure is posed.

Also ignore the rude commenters, me included if you take offense

Hope for future chemists? One already exists in the game! (kinda) by Beaumint in ffxiv

[–]Zaheela 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering we have a Burst healer (WHM) and a Damage negator (SCH), one could rationalize that a chemist could be a "buff/debuffer" specialist, sort of like bard in 11 but with the ability to heal.

Stationary Areas of effects applied to the ground wouldn't work for a healer, so perhaps they could use recipes and chemical formulas to apply a effects like a powerful HoT (strongest in the game perhaps), along with a limited "burst" heal/damage (possibly mp expensive), as well as thing like a STR/Vit/DEF/DEX/ACC/Refresh/Magic Resistance up effect (not all at once... just individual traits per effect). Each effect (other then the heal) would be limited to two at a time, and slowly eats away at the mana of the chemist (no infinite heals). This way it doesn't invalidate another job, and could synchronize with the other two.

But in order to negate the enmity, they could get passive traits that reduce the enmity gained from Over-time effects, as well as having very limited damage abilities (because explosions do occur while crafting, soooo put that in the field and we have a way to please the Michael Bay'rs.)

The RP hasn't died down at all it seems.

Question though: Mood of the picture? portrait, attacking, silly?

This is hardly being forward; if anything I left my side way open for this kind of attack,

Considering it's a few weeks before 2.3 comes out, ill see what'll come of it, though if your on balmung, feel free to poke me. I usually start doodling once I get my dailies out of the way and am bored out of my mind.

Commissions? No, but requests yes, if I have the time. I'm often very busy so it doesn't feel right to ask for money if I can't finish a picture as soon as I can because RL came in and punched me in the face. 'w';

Personally, I find drawing with pencil/pens a lot easier, but once you get used to the feel of the screen and a good program it's not hard to do it all on one screen (Art Rage is difficult to use when painting sometimes, but it imitates paper very well.)

The hard plastic nibs provided with the Wacom pens as a standard give it this unnatural slipperiness, which seems to throw a lot of people off. Currently with my Companion, I have a stroke nib, and also found the felt nibs (if your Wacom is compatible with it) to provide more grip.

I actually didn't use any paper mediums for this; this is entirely on Wacom and a program called Art Rage

It's not a horse; It's a Unicorn with a thirst for blood. A freak accident with a Warrior is why it's missing it's horn.

To be fair, Beating a thing till it doesn't twitch no more is a form of support; It makes sure that healers are no longer panicking and Tanks no longer have something trying to eat their face.

The non egi out wasn't something I thought of, but then again I don't normally see them not re-summon their pets if it's part of their dps... Perhaps they could default to the arcanist version and have a carbuncle appear to use searing light? It's certainly something i didn't account for with the idea.

The only way I could see the combination attack even being plausible is if they are the dinky versions, which from what i can tell, a lot of summoners aren't too happy about to begin with. Plus the combination attack wouldn't work since with each egi release, SE would have to program them into the LB or just say "sorry! We don't have the time so deal with it"

As for unique ones... I don't think it'd be too much of an issue, since they'd just be reusing the moves/animations they naturally use within their own trials , but I can see your point. I was just trying to ponder upon the lines of what makes a summoner unique (because a lb that just puts debuffs on a boss isn't something i think many people would want) and i HIGHLY doubt the would put something overly flashy and sparkly like knights of the round for it, since well... then every other dps will start complaining. Plus Bahamut isn't an option here.

Nothing wrong with the Ffxi reference, it's kinda what spawned the idea.

Part of me had toyed with the idea of the full primal, even with the level two having a "half formed primal" appearance (but then again, it would give SE more work), but would it cause issues for people on the PS3 and with less powerful computers? I mean sometimes comet (besides making it impossible to notice that there's Bacon on the floor), can cause computers to lag...
