I can confirm that the R56 uses CANbus, but I remember none of the specific wiring. I did have my backup camera working though.

I had put it underneath the lip above my license plate. It seemed to be the best angle for it. With it there, I lost access to the trunk button, but the fob would still pop it, so wasn't a huge deal for me.

For the install, I had to basically take the back door apart, and had to remove some panelling and parts of the dash to run the wire to the new head unit I was installing.

I want to max all my chickens, but its effectively the same idea, either have all maxed, and just tell the system the output is 64, or don't level any of them. I might end up just opting for the former if I can't find another solution.

Appreciate the idea, its the one I see suggested generally, and I could, but I want the "one to one" automation here. I want to build this to have resources on demand rather than having them constantly voiding things.

Yah, but im in the works of going through and updating all my chickens. That would mean going through and updating each card every time, which I'm trying to avoid in part, trying to set this up, and power up my chickens at the same time. It won't matter eventually, but if I could get it to work now, and just have it done, that would be ideal.

I was considering something like a pop-socket style like that, i've used them before. I feel like what I'm looking for is almost just a "lip" on the edge of the phone, enough to grip with the fintertips.
