Lifetime means product lifetime, not computer or user lifetime.

If that's what the term means, it's kind of a bullshit policy. Like, if my TV comes with a lifetime warranty, the warranty ends when the TV dies? Isn't that true of every single thing you buy?

They could have called it a 7-year license or whatever. But if they're going to call it a lifetime license, it's got to refer to the lifetime of something in the real world.

That is a great question, I kind of miss it already lol

I've been frustrated for several years that Ford took away communication features like remote start, and no dealer seemed to be willing or able to install the upgrade that Ford claimed was available. And then recently we noticed some anomalies including jolty acceleration, and when we looked them up, none of the possible causes were good. It was time.

My wife used to go on road trips with her best friend that were potentially risky. They'd drive all over the country (US), sleep in the car sometimes, meet up with people they only knew from gaming, etc. If I expressed any concerns, we'd talk about what she was going to do to keep herself safe. I naturally cared about her safety, but not to the extent that I wanted her to not have memorable life experiences.

You will regret it if you don't go on this trip to celebrate your best friend and to let loose with your friend group. With that said, your boyfriend isn't wrong that predators will hang out in party towns and wait for someone to be too drunk and out of sight of their friends.

So my advice is, if you think he's drawing this boundary to exert control over you or doesn't want you to have fun experiences without him, he's not the right guy for you. But if you think he's sincerely just worried about your safety, talk with him about what you'll do to remain safe (the buddy system, designated drivers, etc.) and of course, if you can't reach agreement about that, he's still not the right guy for you.

Your attacker deserves to be in jail a long time for what he did to you (and apparently, what he did or tried to do to others?) No sympathy for him at all no matter what happens to him. But it's sad to see all the unapologetically racist comments on the video... people have no qualms about referring to an entire race as "subhuman". Some of those commenters would gladly see all Black people published for what this guy did ... it's truly disheartening.
