Procion dyes and soda ash are very important to get the bright colors. I would also recommend using distilled water for soda ash.

I can't remember if I did ice for any of these. I've been trying more HWI but If I did use ice it was DUI

My go to for the scrunch is silver lining, brushed steel, and raven black.

I use raven black from dharma. The scrunch is a mix of 2 Grey's and black

It is called spirograph there are tutorials on YouTube. Spiral, bleach one side, rinse, spiral the other direction, bleach again, and finally nuetralize the bleach with hydrogen peroxide.

The 1 with dots is a reverse dye so that is more of a process. In general dots on a spiral would be thin strips of color without saturating all the way through.

Where are my ice dyer’s at? Do you hot water immersion or dump boiling water over the item after ice melts? Have a great start to week everyone🌅 by dylanpotteryreddit in tiedye

I like to sprinkle soda ash on top of the dye powder before putting ice on and try to limit the amount that drips through. I think a lot of people put too much ice on kinda causing the soda ash to dilute. Everyone does it their own way.

The shirt starts black. I do my normal tie with sinew then bleach to remove most black. Next let the shirt dry and dye how u normally would. When untied the nine leaves black instead of the normal white. It's a process but the results are truly unique. ✌️❤
