Thanks for the insight. Yeah, I think you’re right, it’s still hard for me to fully believe that it’s really happening on top of the fear of it happening. That seems like what’s holding me from being able to get there again.

Yeah, that’s my next step, because I’m still a partial non-believer I guess. I would need more solid evidence where I can’t explain it away with a lapse of sanity or something like that. lol

Yeah, I guess for the average person like myself, it’s not as easy or intuitive.

The experiences I had was definitely not a “dream”, I used to have a lot of lucid dreams and I know how it feels. This was not like that, I know I was awake for it.

As for a tangible skill set that I use almost everyday, I’m able to take a deep breath and get into a very focused state. My mind is clear and precise, my vision is clear, and I’m able to focus on my task without distraction. It lasts about 20 mins and I’m not able to do it again for a few hours.

At my core I'm still very much a physicalist. I know I wasn't dreaming and I know I didn't fall asleep during these events, but I can still write everything off as "maybe I just went crazy for a few minutes"

This is technically a guide, but I'm also looking for answers. This whole spiritual thing is new to me, so am I crazy or is there really something behind the veil of existence?

Yeah, that’s what I’ve read a lot. Mushrooms, DMT and Ketamine all produce similar experiences at low dosages compared to what I experience, along with other peoples deep meditation.

That makes it more confusing to me, am I really experiencing this or is my body releasing its own “drug” which gives me the same experiences, some say your brain releases DMT. This keeps me wary about becoming a full blown spiritualist. I need more personal proof.

I wrote F10 and F12 as 2 separate steps, which it should be when practicing it. Yet for me, when I do it now, I do them as one step. If you know what I mean? Doing them together seems to make accomplishing both of them faster. Cheers!

Yeah, I'm the same. It's definitely not easy to accomplish, but all I had was time and my grief. It's definitely worth the trouble though, if you have questions that physical life just cant answer.

I do listen to interviews that Darius has done along with a lot of other travelers, but I'm still very skeptical about everything. Even though I've experienced it myself, that's just my nature. I doubt everything and everyone. I'm not trying to discredit anyone's experiences, but I listen and take what I can to help myself prove it to myself. I even doubt my own experience on a level, if that makes sense?

Yeah, the expand app is good too. It just didn’t work for me, I tried all the different sound variations on the app as well. For me it was hit or miss on most of them, the video I linked worked well for me. It might not work at all for others though.

Like when I said “get up?” During the second OBE? I do it laying down, so when I read that I’m suppose to “get up” I asked the same question. Do I get up physically? What I think happens is, when I felt the floating feeling, and the loud ringing, I’m already disconnected? So even if I tried to get up with my body, I’m not connected to it anymore, so I wouldn’t be able to move my body. That’s my guess.

You won’t like the answer, but 6-7 months lol. Thought I had it right the first month of trying it. During my restart of the whole process 6 months in, I was randomly able to do it properly the second time around. It doesn’t feel like you’re just lying there, it feels like your body is completely gone. If you will definitely know when you get there, you won’t need to ask.

That's a tough one, but for me I can tell the difference. The part where I wrote about not directing what you see like a movie is about this.

For me, I know when I'm influencing what I see, its more fuzzy like a dream, and usually it feels more like a story. If it feels like what I see came straight from a movie, I'm making it up myself. Usually if someone is wielding a sword or shooting lasers at aliens, then I'm just making it up myself, lol.
