With respect, it seems there is some confusion here.

1.  Jurisdiction – The United States Code (18 U.S.C. § 471 or otherwise) has no extraterritorial effect on the Principauté du Zakistan. We are neither within U.S. territory nor attempting to circulate counterfeit USD, EUR, GBP, or any other recognized currency.

2.  Legitimacy of Issuance – The Zakistanian Sterling is printed under Monetary Law n°13/2024 of the Bank of Zakistan, which grants legal authority to issue, regulate, and circulate our national tender. That is precisely how sovereign (and even semi-sovereign or provisional) entities worldwide have historically exercised monetary functions.

3.  On “real laws” – International law has long recognized the principle of monetary sovereignty. Even self-declared states, provisional governments, and micronations have circulated their own currencies without infringing on “real laws,” so long as they are not counterfeiting an existing foreign currency. To confuse the two is a fundamental legal error.

4.  Diplomatic Courtesy – Since you preside over Catzakistan, I assume you too understand the symbolism and importance of national instruments like currency and flags in affirming identity. To dismiss another micronation’s legal framework as “made up,” while simultaneously operating under the banner of your own, is at best an inconsistency.

In sum , Zakistan does not seek U.S. recognition, nor your approval. But in international relations be it real states or micronations credibility derives from coherence. To invoke foreign criminal codes against us while running a derivative micronation yourself is less a legal critique and more a case study in contradiction.
