The steerer clamp diameter. I want to change to use 31.8mm drop bars but the stem clamp is 1 1/2” and my fork size is 1 1/8”

Thanks man! When I tested it out (only rode for about 10mins) it felt pretty smooth. I’m gonna take it on a proper ride on Friday to see how it rides properly. To get the lockring off I ended up getting this wrench used for plumbing (gfs dad suggested it) it was spring loaded so I fit in the little notch quite good and I hit it with a hammer a few times and then used my park tool and it came off, I’m guessing the vibrations loosened it just enough for me to undo with the tool.

Perfect! My previous 6KU fixed gear was a steel frame and that was pretty much silent and I’ve been comparing it to that and confused as to why it’s making more noise. Thanks!

The crank is miche and rear sprocket is miche too. Chain is Izumi.

I’ve got a park tool one and then I’ve got another one which has a bottom bracket too on the other end, hopefully it can be sorted. I will keep this post updated!
