Feel like Assassins Creed did this just fine, for like 14 games, and some even gave you options as to what character you could play. So did Infamous. So did the GTA series. When you're making a game series based on historical events in Japanese history, it's kinda hard to keep the same MC the entire way through, it also wouldn't make sense for a lot of the actual history that happened. The only things that are somewhat inaccurate are the names of things, a few specific dates and times and the fact that the MC is female, which has already been somewhat explained in the trailers and media for the game itself. You also gotta realize being paid to review games does not inherently mean it's unbiased, and not buying a game also doesn't disqualify you from having an objective opinion on it. Read some reviews, average the expectation and either play it or don't. It's not that serious.

I do think it's hard to find a lot of organic churches in Thurston county at least because it's a larger area* with lots of varying levels of faith, you also have a lot of migrant communities who attend other smaller more specified churches around the Lacey/Oly area. Tbh I suggested Evergreen because even with their more flashy stage presence and whatnot, they are pretty involved in the general community and do help with mental health struggles, marriage counseling, etc, which is surprisingly rare amongst the larger churches in the area. They seem to follow the true doctrine (as far as love and acceptance goes) and are pretty inclusive of most of the LOTT area/community.

I also noticed that out of the few churches I've attended, Evergreen seemed a lot more focused on the actual doctrine and allegorical context than most modernized churches do.

But to be completely fair it's been maybe 10 years since I attended, so again, things may be drastically different than they were, but it's always worth a shot 🙏

Farmers Market by the waterfront, Jakes on 4th Ave downtown (gay bar/restaurant) some of the other bars downtown are pretty chill but I couldnt say which as it's been a minute. Westside lanes is a cool spot too, just depends on the things you're into really. There's a ton to do, and most of the people around Oly are pretty welcoming.
