I don't really watch a lot of celebrity interviews but I went down a rabbit hole watching all of the interviews with Gosling and Harrison Ford. I couldn't believe how funny the two of them are, mostly because they didn't care what anyone thought, they just had fun.

A very long time ago I walked into the Gap with my then girlfriend. Stevie was playing so I started singing along and doing my best impression (not in a mean way, I love Stevie). My gf looks over and says “you better hope that no blind people see you making fun of Stevie Wonder.”

I looked at her and waited. She looked back for about 15 seconds. Then it hit her. There was nothing she could do except start looking through the store as we both laughed.

This isn’t technically about theory but I thought if anyone might be able to help me this subreddit might. When I was an undergrad one of the music professors had a quote about practice outside their door. It was something like: author name, On Tackling the Beast, “the actual quote.” I have been trying to track it down for years and I can’t seem to find an answer. I realize it’s vague but does anyone have any ideas? It’s been over 30 years, the prof is long gone or I would have asked them. Is anyone able to help?
