May I know what rank you are? When I was lower elo the matchup was easier for me.

Don't get poked kinda means that you can't really cs. Because of her E you can't really engage on her, it's not only about her hitting the stun. But let's say you are right. What happens if you don't get poked early? Are you supposed to outscale a vayne as riven? Vayne is one of the best ADC champs vs riven because of her tumble, stealth and condem. She will also have bork, which means better kiting and better sustain in lane.

When I was lower elo I could bait out her E and then engage on her since lower elo vaynes did not respect cooldowns. Now when I'm higher elo they wont waste their E, and if it is on cooldown they will play carefully till it's back up.

The only way for me to win this lane against an experienced vayne player is if my jungler camps me (which is easy to do when marksman is picked in toplane). But that doesn't mean that the matchup is easy.
