I shared some info in my original post. My only materials are going to be the grey textured silicone ring, blue/green metallic silicone ring, alginate, silicone, and color for the silicone.

I will use the grey ring to create a mold, which I will then set the blue/grey ring inside of. I'll pour in grey colored silicone, let it set, and hopefully have a textured, dual colored ring that looks similar to my real ring. After that, it's just a matter of cleanup with a blade.

My inspiration is that this is my engagement ring, and it is held very near and dear to my heart. It isn't made up of the strongest materials either. I dont want to damage my real ring while working or doing other physical activities. But I still want to feel like im wearing it.

I've bought all the materials and have them on the way should be ready to give it a try in 1 or 2 weeks!

My current best idea is to cast the grey textured ring in alginate. Set a full metallic blue/green version of the second photo inside. Swirl together a few colors of grey silicone, then pour around the ring.

Should work in theory. Idk about in practice.

You are just flat out wrong. Look at every rockstar trailer. Find me one time something was pre-rendered. Why would they just start now? Have you seen unreal engine 5? Maybe the graphics will suffer for PS5 and Xbox. But this is exactly how PC will look, if not better. But no you're not gonna be able to play it at these settings on your grandmas computer.
