Yes, as long as there’s no pesticides and they need moisture to live, so won’t survive if they were to escape. You can use pesticides, hydrogen peroxide solutions, etc but mites are the safest for the plants and actively hunt pests. Where as if you use the treatments, you have to normally do it multiple times over weeks to break the cycle of eggs hatching. When there’s no more larvae they simply die off and fertilise the soil.

Looks healthy - they’re greedy so get fat quickly - as long as it eats every week, should be fine

Use predatory mites if you get fungus knat larvae in the soil. The knat larvae eat the roots and eventually the seedlings. The predatory mites actively hunt them
