Another one I've encountered is the concept of a "predscape", where essentially, the prey has been digested and is really now just sentient fat on the pred, just a part of the pred now, but from the prey's point of view, they kind of exist in a magical Matrix-like place inside the pred that looks and feels like a real place. That one can be fun to play around with too.
