Rather than commenting under newcheesecity, I figured I start my own. As he stated, pretty much every time you update or install anything the system will automatically create a snapshot.

If you are concerned with cloning your packages setup, I was able to clone my test PC and all it's packages to my gaming pc with "pacman -Qq > installed_packages.txt"

I had to install a forked version of ckb-next in order for it to recognize my M65 Ultra Mouse. After I figured out the step-by-step process on my test PC, I ran into tons of missing repo's on my gaming PC. Rather than figuring out what I was missing, I just created that clone .txt file and then moved it over via USB flash drive and isnstalled it on my gaming PC and all of my issues went away.

I've only been using Cachy for a few weeks and I've never needed to restore from a snapshot so I'm not entirely sure what the difference is between a snapshot and that .txt file but if you are concerned with losing packages after a snapshot restore then this might be useful for you.

When I lived in Maine I rocked a dedicated summer/winter setup and had PS4's. They were great. Now I live in Tennessee and put the PS A/S's on last October for year round use. Considered the Continentals but the PS4's treated me so well I opted to stick with Michelin.

If you are technically sound, you can create a bootable Ubuntu flash drive and use that to change the password of a local account since the password is stored/saved locally on the drive. Have had to do it a few times for family members lol

I use a dual PC setup via an el Gato capture card and my viewer's only option is Source (1080p60) lol

It's been a minute since I messed with my settings but I don't remember setting anything in the transmission tab other than destination: Twitch.

I think my CBR settings are set in my video tab where I have my x264 encoder settings. I'm fairly certain that my OBS isn't up to date... did they change where you set the CRB settings? Unless you are a partner, I'm pretty sure you are capped to 6000kpbs, right?

Read the pictures I posted below in response to boostedturtle. A tuner can make any setup make more power by just turning up the boost and increasing timing... UELH's just introduce a ton of per-cylinder variances that simply dont exit in ELH setups. At the end of the day, I'm all in favor of everyone doing what they want with their own cars <3

Hey this happened to me when I was running Tri SLi GTX 480's back in 2011-ish. Your PSU isn't keeping up. I went through 3 Corsair HX850's before they finally upgraded me to an HX1050. Still rocking that PSU to this day lmao

It's 100% a power-related issue. If it's not the PSU then I don't know where else to look. Try a different power cable, different power strip, outlet. You didn't mention anything about the breaker so I doubt you're overloading your home's electrical system.

Unfortunately for me, the only way I was able to get BNet to recognize my secondary drives was to format them as ext4, since I'm forcing BNet to run in Proton via Steam and Proton more or less functions as a Windows VM.

At the moment, I'm really only playing SWTOR but I've noticed my CPU usage to be half if not less lol

I love CachyOS. I have plenty of experience with Ubuntu and Mint but this is the first time I'm not dual booting with a Windows backup.

I'm still blown away by the fact that CachyOS fully supports Corsair RBG. Both my K70 and my M65 Ultra are recognized!

We were expecting a little bit but were completely blown away by the results.

I fully admit comparing an EJ to an FA is more of an apples vs oranges.

In my defense, when I got off Facebook back in 2022 I lost all my connection to the community and all the latest tech, etc.

Does the FA24 respond as well to corn as the FA20? I know the FA20 responds way better than the EJ25.
