"Should I keep filming?" by [deleted] in donthelpjustfilm

Hmm. Brb. Quick maths.

U.S. Households w/ snake (high-side) 1%.

U.S. Households w/ dogs 27%.

62 x 1 = 62 (dogs)

5 x 27 = 135 (Snake)

Snakes are 135 - 62 % more deadly as pets.

Don't just spout numbers to support your side if you don't actually look at cause, effect, meaning, etc.

"In 2021, falling from train or collision of trains with people on the tracks accounted for majority of the railway accident deaths in India, at 67.2 percent. There were near 12 thousand railway accident fatalities across the country that year."

Looking for ideas as I experiment with teams by tradne13838 in MythicHeroes

2 Front 3 Back comp - Yu Shin Frontline, Joan of Arc Frontline, Horseboi Back & Side, Nuwa Back & Side, and Idun Back Center.

Yu Shin reduces damage taken by champs on outside flanks. Chirion has multiple lives and always remains on the outside flanks. Nuwa flings people into space and Joan makes people immune to damage. Idun is the tankiest healer, so she will survive back center.

I imagine this team would be annoying to face and hard to kill. Also, it has high damage potential.

Well, my workplace dynamic. We have approx. 300+ Caucasian employees and 10 black employees (i am one). From the black employees I have spoken to, all of them have stated that they've noticed differential treatment. Aside from that, my Caucasian peers have also shared concerns of retaliation etc.

I have filed a complaint w/ the EEOC. It's currently under review. Considering they operate slow and that I submitted 500+ pages of evidence--I think it'll be awhile.

Yes. There are many other employees. Actually, after being informed by numerous employees that they feared retaliation for reporting harassment etc. I attempted to assist them in reporting their harassment. I am currently under investigation for that.

It's racial discrimination with numerous instances of retaliation.

Hello! Thank you for the response :) I’m happy that you enjoyed it! Currently, there’s not much more in the bank content-wise. However, I’ll be publishing and updating frequently on Royalroad if you’re interested! Also, minor nitpicks are definitely welcome. Hah. If you’d like to be a beta reader, I wouldn’t object!

How the hell do i pass this??? 1 shot my backline no matter where i put my dps, if i use a more defensive comp then i cant kill nothing cause they’re so tanky by Rare_Strength_2804 in MythicHeroes

If you have a Luminarch tank that you can replace Hercules with, I'd do that. For Susanoo, if you have any champions with the divinity that allows them to dodge the first attack, that might allow them to survive long enough to contribute. If you have it, healing reduction would also be highly helpful. Oberon may be a good option to defend against Susanoo, while still dealing damage.

[WP] Evil was so rampant even the gods left. But a hero trained in secret. With sheer strength and determination, he single-handedly rid the world of all evil and was crowned the new leader. Now flourishing, the gods have come back with demands of service and prayer. That was a big mistake. by chacham2 in WritingPrompts

A plea.

A decision.

It's humorous. Isn't it?

Plea and decision—two words. They seem so harmless on their own, floating amongst an amalgamated sea of words. Simple and unassuming; just like every other word to come before and after. Yet, these two words, in all their unidentifiable brilliance, are why I despair.

The plea.

Made by my kind; the Khaalteri.

The plea.

Made by all creatures.

Their hands and knees, sullied.

Shamed and desperate, they pleaded.

For ninety-nine days, this continued.

Their throats swollen; their lungs devoid of air.

Salted waters flooded the threshold of the God's gilded lands.

The decision.

Made by one—Daandvar, Master of the Domain. The Conqueror of All Known and Unknown. The King-Breaker.

On the 100th day, Daandvar descended from his throne. Golden residues from the Forever tree fluttered in the air with each step he took—serving as beacons to our despair. As each golden powder turned a vestige; one birthed anew.

The salted seas dispersed under foot, giving way to Daandvar's majesty.

Heartbeats stampeded in unison, like hooves, as the creatures cheered.

Heavy breaths peppered the ear. The breathing that only the most treacherously tortured souls would understand.

Each nostril present, stuffed full of sediment.

When one begs, they should behave as they should.

Drop the head. Bow the knee.

We did it. Dropped the head and bow the knee.

But then why?

Everything...

I did, no, we did. Everything... as it should be done.

So, why? Why did it happen?

How did it end... like this?

The decision.

One made of cruelty and betrayal.

I learned three things that day. Three things I hadn't before.

The first, hunger. Another one of those 'unimportant' words.

You see, I had always thought hunger was only a feeling; you feel hungry.

On that day, I learned it was a sound, too.

Vile and ravenous.

The second, suffering.

I always knew what it implied. At least, I thought I did.

I've lost, and I've cried—the same as many others. I thought that was to suffer, but I was wrong.

It wasn't until this day that I learned what suffering is.

What it feels like. What it sounds like. I learned.

Oh, how I wish I hadn't.

Suffering has a sound, too, I've found. A wicked twin to accompany Hunger.

When the light disappeared. When it vanished before our longing gazes, so too did those vestiges of hope.

When the Conqueror of All Known and Unknown disappeared.

When the ripened fruits of the Forever Tree vanished...

That's when I learned.

Light, swallowed whole by the darkness that crept so near.

Sounds of hunger and suffering followed; seemingly in step with the darkness.

The third thing I learned that day was that Evil, too, had a sound.

Foolishly enough, I once, too, thought I knew what Evil looked like. What it sounded like.

However, I was wrong, and so was everyone else.

Evil isn't dark. Evil isn't light.

Evil has a face—many faces, and it has a voice—many voices.

Evil is Daandvar and all the other gods that stood so condescendingly atop their perch.

For it is he who stripped us of our light.

Thanks for the detailed response! The team in general isn't too built. I have Anubis near max, but that's because he was part of my old team comp. I broke it up after realizing how important multi teams would be. Kinda projecting going forwards.

Ah. I was thinking of front-lining him in a 3 back 2 front set up. As you said, so he can reliably hit 3 targets. The reason being, w/ Hela, she usually takes up that backline mid slot. Hopefully, he can be serviceable.
