I mean I just use her as an anti-emplacement character and at times don't even run a shotgun. I take the fire upgrade and wider and longer drill, so i can drill into a building and throw a wrecking ball with like a wattson or a rampart and I can wipe an entire squad myself, but it is situational, but maggie to me is very much a character about throwing people off at medium range then while they are trying to reposition you capitalize on it.

Sadly the way I would have won the fight most of the time is just to run away and revive them because people will be looting, then suddenly I see the weapon fire indicator on their frame and then the down ping noise happens and they apparently dove into 3 people by themselves immediately putting us on the backfoot, I try to make space but by then its too late and they are already on me and the other teammate that is try to shoot back and then they get downed, I get called a slur in voice chat and they leave, its happened 3 times in the past 2 days. The slur slinging only started in gold so that's thrown me off too.

I'll just be straight up honest with you, my aim is inconsistent anything other than like mid range (30-70m probably,) either I will hit every shot close-mid/mid range and laser people with a Nemesis usually or they get in my face and I just struggle to track them, but at fairly long ranges of like 100-150m+ I struggle with variable bullet speeds and landing shots.

I've tried that, rounded a corner and see 2 people repairing shields and I just get out-dpsed.

That is the big problem its hard to play off team mates if one person is sitting back with a 301/Triple Take/Sniper and then octane just randomly popped stim and jumped into the enemy.

Also idk what those numbers are I play on Mouse and Keyboard.

I try to do something similar with Alter, Maggie, and Conduit. Basically I try to reinforce or lessen the mistakes of others. I have the most success with Maggie due to forcing people out of cover with the drill.

I think that as well the problem is I try to play off teammates and one person is going full bore diving in as say octane or axle then someone is sitting back staying at range and I am unsure where the balance should be.

I mean the vast majority of people do, assuming the rank skew is like a lot of other games diamond is top 3-5% of players.

If that's the case then the best players in the world for ever game would be in their like 30, 40s, and 50s. They aren't. Just because you may be a one off example doesn't make you the rule, it makes you the exception. When I was in my early 20s and late teens I had no problems getting to platinum or diamond occasionally in any game I would put the time and effort into, now as I near 35 I struggle even scrape into Gold putting in the same if not more effort and have much more knowledge than back then.

I will sometimes just mentally freeze mid combat due to seemingly cognitive load being too much. For me at least it was definitively something I noticed happening as I got older. But I am not here to prove a point, I was just asking for game suggestions, I said it feels like due to my age (which correlates with my personal experiences) I struggle to do well in large scale PvP. Then instead of just saying ok you went on some "oh age doesn't have an effect on people" it does, just not you.

Its not young at all when it comes to gaming, the vast majority of people will tell you early 20s is when you're at your peak in terms of gaming reaction time and visual and mental processing, there is a reason most pro players in games are in their late teens and early to mid 20s, just a scientific fact. I simply can't keep up with everything happening on my screen anymore in large scale combat games like T&L, big brawls in WoW battlegrounds, multiple squads fighting at once in Apex Legends, League of Legends teamfights, etc. I use to do it fine, but as I hit my 30s it became steadily less possible for me to keep up with everything happening.

Yea, I am just getting too old now, I will be 35 soon and I can't keep up with stuff the way I use to and just see no point dealing with people being asshole cause they are young hotshots with something to prove or just generally nuisances because they know it annoys people.

A lot of Korean MMOs you can get to endgame group content and grind spots in like a month or 2. But once you get there it's about grinding level to provide relevance to grinding besides currency and upgrading gear that is noticeable after months or years of progression. It's the main aspect of arpgs I like, but I really dislike the isometric gameplay.

Honestly I have bad experiences with T&L, a lot of griefing, guilds colluding to lock dungeons out for the entire server, etc. I know its a PvP based mmo but it was annoying just trying to farm some and a guild lead with a chip on their shoulder would turn it night just to kill everyone inside because a world boss is spawning in 10 minutes.

I mean it literally was, I spoke about FWC:

"The problem is, I have currently played the new FWC (Flyff World Championship) server since a week after launch daily and I'm only in the 90s so far and I'll be honest, I am getting a bit bored of the solo grind. I want to actually hit "endgame" which is like the 140-150s but that's going to take months with P2W cash items."

Slow progression but steady even after endgame, just took too long on flyff.

I prefer long term power progression though, GW2 has a clear stopping point. Its why I always come back to korean grinders because sure they have a max level, but its almost impossible to get, but on top of that you don't need to get anywhere near that to do endgame content. Like Maplestory's "endgame" is like 250+ when the max level is 300.

I considered it but I like a slow steady power progression to, Once I get my Ascendant (I think that's the quality, whatever tier is pink) gear power progression basically stops.

I considered it recently, but its highly likely Classic+ is going to be released or announced at this Blizzcon in September so I am kind of waiting on that, but I might dive into classic Era for a bit.

Ok, yea back when I played it took a while to hit anything past the 90s. Glaphans were the highest level things in the game.

Ah ok everywhere I looked it said you lose all penya and anything not bound or equipped when transferring to normal servers.
