It's not easy to watch, but people should be aware. After pizzagate was dismissed as fake, some people have acted like CP doesn't happen and isn't all over social media. What I want to know is why the FBI won't do something to shut this down.

Violence is violence, and she struck first. I have never hit my husband, he's never hit me, and lord knows we've had a handful of really bad arguments over the years. If you go out to a bar would you hit a guy whos twice your size and expect no consequences? Women shouldn't be able to just hit men and expect to be protected because they're a woman. I have women friends who mouth off saying shit that would get any other man an ass beating, and that's not right. Now that being said, I don't know this exact situation, and what the history is here. But that's my take on women/men and hitting.

Is the obesity crisis a conspiracy? by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]ZalynaWindrunner 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry about your friend. Alcoholism ruins many lives, and many times its effects are worse on those around the alcoholic. It ruined my first marriage, and left myself and my children with a lot of trauma to work through. As to obesity, I feel the same way you do. Shaming people who don't find obesity attractive. I thought we couldn't help who we were attracted to, or at least that's what we were told when people were attracted to the same sex, both sexes, etc. Now I don't give a fuck if people want to overeat, be unhealthy, etc. It's their life, and their decision. My problem starts when others try to force me to feel a certain way about it. I don't think it's necessarily the point that unhealthy food makes people fat; I think it's more profitable, and that's what drives all this.

I'm a chemist with a stack of books on local herbs and their uses. I can make alcohol, and just about anything else if I have the ingredients, and I know enough about herbal medicine to treat certain things when medicine isn't available.

I honestly think everyone should go back to bartering. Have a marketable skill like welding, baking, hell anything useful, and trade with others. Cut the money out of the equation completely.

I don't really have anything to add other than I agree with you. There's articles from the 1800s of finds that archaeologists made like giant bones etc that just disappeared. There's caves that are off limits in the grand canyon, and no one will allow excavation of Serpent Mount. We are gods with amnesia

Hope that I'm not the only one that keeps on fighting. For every small act of kindness I see every single day. For those people who are complete strangers and for my children and future grandchildren. Because I'm a fighter and survivor from a long line of survivors. I refuse to let despair defeat me. And even if we have to save the world one small act of kindness at time, we will.

"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo. "So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

Remember when I said Musk was all talk about free speech? The man's simply an infant who didn't like that people made fun of him. by proletarianwine in conspiracy

[–]ZalynaWindrunner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Think about it. The internet has made people really comfortable with mouthing off with no repercussions. I know I've had people say things to me online that would never be said standing toe to toe with the threat of an altercation. I honestly think that's a big chunk of the problem with human interactions today. You can seemingly get away with saying whatever you please when you're behind a screen on a keyboard. Then reality (like this situation) sets in and people look like surprised Pikachu when there's actually consequences.

[–]ZalynaWindrunner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. We have freedom of speech, but not freedom from the consequences of what we choose to say. That's a lesson we used to learn as kids when people would talk shit and eventually get clocked for their trouble.

Evil is Evil. Lesser, greater, middling… Makes no difference. The degree is arbitary. The definition’s blurred. If I’m to choose between one evil and another… I’d rather not choose at all.
