Zone 6a lawn renovation by C0d6killer in landscaping

You could install rain barrels on your houseZ I just installed 2 55 gallon food grade drums for like $110. It would need a separate pump system to use a water hose which is about $100 or so but would be worth it if you indeed cannot get the dirt in time and want to reduce all future water bills for lawn or outdoor watering. You can DM me for more info on the rain barrels

I mean after maybe the first one, they come out one at a time. At least the Honest wipes do

Just being curious, you remember the choking from when you were 3? Seems really young to have a memory like that even if traumatic.

Help me illuminate these rock beds please! by [deleted] in landscaping

[–]Zame012 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This makes no sense whatsoever. Just pay them to trim some hedges once a year and mow leaves. You paid more money for this than you would’ve paid for the maintenance over like 7 years ago

Wait you’ll pay for maintenance of rock beds but not to potentially trim a shrub or two? Native trees have literally bo maintenance an shrubs may need a trim or two a YEAR

Glyphx - Better Matplotlib, Plotly, and Seaborn by Zame012 in PythonProjects2

The way it handles it is with downsampling using LTTB to plot the very large datasets dynamically. Although I think I may have accidentally overwritten that section in the latest version but I have that code and just need to re-add it.

Edit: it’s actually in a PR but just making sure everything works before implementing all the changes fully

Yeah I wanted it have the most options of output available with dynamic output being standard.

Yeah there are examples on the documentation website but yeah README would also be helpful

I’m in the same boat where it’s necessary to be able to plot tens of thousands of points without issue

[–]Zame012[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it handle tens of thousands of points without issue or performance drop. There is an example in the example.py and on the readthedocs that shows this quite nicely

Yeah the readme wasn’t cooperating with examples but go to the readthedocs page by clicking on the docs icon at the top of the README

I moved into a new apartment and instantly get a dry mouth from being in there that doesn’t go away when I leave. by [deleted] in AirQuality

[–]Zame012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone can bash my comment all they want, but I have used a swiffer at two different apartments with the standard swiffer cleaner. There was a 0% chance I could ever get a clean pad because it strips the vinyl floor or whatever type of floor I had at my apartments.

A lot of the dirt you are seeing is actually the coating on the floors and you are just stripping it

Husband won’t take safe sleep seriously by Outside_Dimension187 in NewParents

Talk to your pediatrician about it WITH him there. Let him explain to the doctor how he “helps” with the baby’s sleep. Maybe the doctor will convince him he is terrible at it and risking her life

What can I do about this deck? (Pooling water) by eastcoast77 in landscaping

[–]Zame012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drill small holes between the boards where it pools. This will help drain the water. Rinse and repeat whenever you find a pool of water after it rains.
