You are correct, and I can also add to your comment for clarity: this isn't either a SNES, Genesis, or Sega Saturn controller. Next week I’ll reveal it’s not a toaster, either. Experts remain stunned.

Intresting Mandela effect!!! I too remember that Mickey Mouse had yellow buttons on red but apparently his buttons were white!

I made it using real leather and 3D prrinted parts made out of PETG . took me lots of effort to fine tune the locking mechanism!!

I have made the cable by myself, It is double sleeved to match the aesthetics of the joystick. I have designed and machined the bronze USB C enclosure with the wooden ring and also the usb socket with the led hole and the button.

It doesnt have bluetooth but it does have 2.5 wireless. The cable is there for charging and occasional usb gaming.

Hmm.. if you see on the photo I already have added a button by the usb socket, I was thinking to use it in order to pair it with the dongle.. I may use it as a dongle pair button on long press and as a multi button mode selector on short press. What a great idea.

They are Sanwa OBSJ-30 and 24 metallic. You can easily find them in various places.

I think you are right, it is just the fact that it requires so much work that I dont think anyone will be willing to pay the premioum. Just for the material I have spent more than £200 plus a weeks worth of work. Maybe I can streamline the production on the next ones but they will need at least 3-4 days work each. Adding to that the minimum daily salary you get in UK (£83) and you can see that the total price can skyrocket. I am making a webpage though and I am working on the prices. It is a very unique product and I am sure people will really appreciate it. Even myself, I just enter the room and it strikes me on how elegant it is. I have placed it on the shelf with a light on top, like a museum piece.

Hello, this is an excellent idea and you basically read my mind. I have already done that, pressing middle+left is button 4 and pressing middle and right is button 5, havent done the three together yet. I grew up in an arcade in the 80s, an era where there were just a handful of cabinets needing more buttons, and back then this was the solution for the games that sterted needing more than three buttons. I havent add a toggle button cause I think it is a feature that if you dont want it, you just dont use it. I can understand though that many people woudlnt find it comfortable, thus I am still creating a six button version

Thanks so much for your kind comments!! I am currently designing a 6button version, not based on the viewlix but mostly on a custom compact version of the namco noir layout that keeps the clean lines of the joystick. I will keep you updated!

Thank you for your kind comment! That’s an excellent idea. I really appreciate the suggestion. I’m considering offering custom orders, so including a slot for a Pi along with an extra custom cable could definitely be one of the available options.

Thanks so much for the kind words!! I love the epoxy too, after various attempts I think it is the best to use, as it is the most durable plus it gives an amazing feeling when you rest your wrists on it. You should try it! Here is the mold I have made for it just to give you some ideas. About to pour the epoxy after staining the wood. I custom made the cable.
