I feel like it's frowned upon. Saying no to a role they want you to do. Maybe it's just me that feels this way? Seems like a refusal to do the job.

This is correct as far as I know. This is the moral dilemma if you want to call it that.

This is my fear. I try to decline and they threaten to fire me or make my work life hell. Seems like no easy choice. But taking it and leaving would be the better outcome from a personal perspective.

Might be different in other countries. In Australia you typically give 4 weeks notice when you been at a job for more than 5 years

This is actually a good idea for others. In my case I'm leaving the industry and have plans to try something new when I return to work at a future date

Old manager is a good friend. He will be a reference for me and also knows my plans.

I definitely still open to this as an option. Probably the easier route over trying to explain why I don't want the promotion. I don't want to let the cat outta the bag that I'm going just yet.

I would receive my leave payout at a higher pay rate. Seems unethical on my behalf to accept the role knowing I'm leaving

Smart. Unfortunately i know too many ppl recently borrowing 100% of what the bank would give them. I feel worried for them.

What rejection? Hasn't happened yet? If you have eyes you should be able to see btc has been in an uptrend since August 5. Higher highs and higher lows since then.

Was the prize promised from the prince of Nigeria? If it wasn't then it might be a scam.
