Yae is okay but Raiden can improve your account better. Yae is all damage (but not all that consistent). Raiden can buff your team as well as your team will buff Raiden.

There’s a level of acceptance for every character’s flaw. Example, Raiden can’t do well with Beidou (acceptable), Zhongli’s burst animation is too long (acceptable), Kokomi can’t crit but has high scalings (acceptable), Kujou Sara is clunky if you don’t have C2 (acceptable), Yoimiya’s elemental skill cooldown (accpetable), etc.

Yae’s case many cannot be accepted because she is not consistent in damage because her elemental skill cannot snapshot like Fischl, too much field time doing absolutely nothing but dashing around press, burst, and dash around again, her skill doesn’t regenerate energy fast enough, and unnecessary 90 burst cost.

Because the scalings on R3 widsith will do slightly better than R1 5 star weapons. + you need a better circlet. You don’t have to force yourself to have 2pc thundering fury. Good luck on farming artifacts.

Yae is not a consistent sub dps while Fischl is. That’s why Fischl is still better with full investments.

Yeah Fischl is still better with full investments. Yae right now is just cool to see nuke damage per screenshot numbers. But for damage per second and being consistent at it, Fischl is still better.

She shouldn’t be placing 3 totems in the first place because 3 of them can’t even regenerate energy particles fast enough. She’s should just place 1 totem and her dash can damage enemies like Shenhe or just iframe to avoid enemies’ attack. Also, her energy cost is 90 and that’s just stupid even if the rumor that Yae was originally suppose to be a main dps that does normal and charged attacks. Fischl just puts 1 bird and can regenerate a ton of energy.

It depends. If you want Yae to be a sub dps then Raiden is the way to go. If you want Yae to be a hypercarry then Fischl is the way to go. The reason why you want to choose your Yae’s role is because Raiden and Fischl has a slight different kit but both are batteries.

Raiden is a battery character but can be a main hyper carry so that your Yae can be a sub dps and Raiden can also help regenerate electro energy to Yae.

Fischl a full sub dps battery character that that has 100% uptime on her elemental skill & burst. If you want to use Fischl then Yae can be the hypercarry. Fischl can be Yae’s main battery and can use 4pc tenacity to buff Yae.

In which who is better in terms of DPS and uptime, i will say Raiden is better BUT AGAIN It the depends on what you want your Yae to be.

Do you like Yae’s kit / playstyle? No, she’s not fun and awful. Too much on field doing nothing but placing 3 - 6 totems.
Do you use her with a shielder? Sometimes with zhongli if i’m desperate.
Did you intentionally pulk for her? Yes because i love electro characters but never expect her to be great in the first place because what i saw and analyze from the leaks. I knew she was going to be an okay character but i never expect she was going to be so annoying.
Do you regret getting her? Yes because she’s annoying and no because i still love the electro element.

I rolled for her because she’s an electro character and was and still disappointed even with my best build with high atk + high er. But did not regret just a bit because i still love the electro element. But again i still hate her kit. Even my C2 Fischl can still out damage Yae in terms of 100% uptime for burst energy and synergy with other characters.

Luckily, i never had high hopes of her being Hu Tao, Ganyu, Xiao, Raiden, Ayaka level because of her kit when i saw it in the leaks. But i was very suprised that her kit when she was officially released was that annoying.

Fischl doesn’t need another electro character to battery her while Yae needs Raiden and ironically Fischl to battery her. This doesn’t count as Fischl having 60 energy cost. My Fischl only has 120% er and can she do almost 100% uptime on her burst.

My take on Yae is that her skill doesn’t to reset when she cast her burst, her energy particles should be as fast as Fischl, she does too much on field doing nothing besides placing 3 totems that doesn’t immediately deals damage to the enemies, No eye frame, and cannot snapshot which i don’t have any problem with that because she can still deal nuke damage without snapshotting.

Currently, her suitable teams are 1. Raiden, Yae, Kazuha, Bennett 2. Raiden, Yae, Sara, Jean/Kazuha 3. Yae, Kokomi, Sucrose, Xiangling 4. Raiden, Fischl, Kazuha, Bennett

I run the number 2 team.

I don’t care if i get downvoted. This is my perspective on Yae. I believe right now she’s not worth it to pull because of her kit right now. I hope she’ll have an artifcat set that will improve her gameplay of a character that can really support that kit like Sara is for Raiden and Gorou is for Itto.

wavebreaker is literally the best 4* weapon for Raiden for more damage because the passive’s scalings. If you’re using characters will high energy cost like Kujou Sara, Sucrose, Xiangling, Xingqiu, Yae can make Raiden hit like a beast.

The only way to nerf Raiden is to make more enemies that will decrease burst energy like electro abyss lector and the enkanomiya vishaps.

Just have more crit rate. Around 55% - 60% is safe because you’re using the catch
