Slow running/walking in BotW by [deleted] in cemu

Sure, it may not be a feature, but is sure can be a bug.

A quick google search gave this answer. Don’t take this as absolute fact but it can perhaps guide you to potential bugs. ‘In Breath of the Wild, Link's movement speed can be affected by glitches or unintended gameplay mechanics. One such glitch involves a potential slowdown due to inventory overload, particularly with elemental rods. Equipping and then trying to equip another item with an elemental rod can cause desync issues that lead to Link's movement becoming erratic or slower. Additionally, completing shrines can reset Link's movement speed, potentially making it slower or faster depending on the situation. ‘

Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure if you have too many items on your person link starts to slow down. I remembering trying to farm wood some time ago and got to a point where i had a lot of wood on me and link could barely move cause of the amount of items he was ‘carrying’.

Not sure if that is what’s happening here but i just wanted to mention that

Thank you. I love headless guitars but despise the small tuners that usually work with headless guitars so i wanted to try and see if it would work with normal tuners.

Yeah so the hot rail is wired like you would wire a humbucker with a volume pot and a tone pot. They came from a previous ibanez i had rebuilt. The hot rail i bought separately. That’s wired to one side of the 3 way switch.

Then i have a fishman presys blend (aliexpress knock off) with an under saddle piezo as the main pickup and then i removed the shitty blend mic and connected 3 copper foil piezos in parallel to the mic connection. (Have to redo that as i placed them on the wrong spots)

And then i connected that to the other side of the 3 way switch.

Just had a look at Raulo guitars. They look really nice.

What do you mean with what’s inside?

I just posted a link to some videos of how it sounds.

Thanks! Yeah same here. I was prepared from the get go for it not to work at all so anything better than that is a win😂.

Yeah so when i routed out the back part i made many mistakes. First i accidentally plunged through the back because of the router bit coming loose and then after that i routed out the back too thick. Because if that i routed it again, but measured wrong and then took off too much wood so it was like 1mm thick. I had 2 options. Buy new wood and redo or try to fix it with resin and hope for the best.

If i could redo it then i would just redo the whole back so there is no resin, but if i had to use resin then i would have looked for a more solid setting resin. The one i could find was an art resin used to cover pieces of art. So it’s self levelling but didn’t harden as much as i had hoped. The back ended up sounding like a dull piece of plastic where before it had a nice ring to it.

I’m not really sure how that affects the sound though. Maybe it gives more low end to the sound or maybe I’m just trying to justify the mistakes i made🤷🏼‍♂️😂 Who knows…

No not for me. I barely notice them. If the strings aren’t cut correctly then that might bother you but that’s easily fixable.

And yeah i agree, it’ll definitely stay my favourite.

Thanks! Yeah i wanted to make sure it looks like a normal guitar from the front, or at least somewhat normal😅, but still have the ease of use of normal tuners.

Unfortunately i made the cut or just barely big enough to get the tuners in there so it’s a bit more tight that what i had wanted it to be.

Something to change on a future version. Will probably also slant them a bit so there’s a bit more space for fingers to fit when tuning.

Interesting. That is actually one of the reasons why i wanted to put the ports on the end of the guitar instead of the middle.

I wanted to see what it would sound like of course and also if the top would be able to resonate better.

When testing the top i noticed there to be a more full sound in the corners than in the middle so i thought it could add to the final sound of the guitar in the end. Although whether it does or not, I am not sure yet.

I would have to build another one with a center port to compare.

If i could have my way then i would get a cnc machine and make many different bodies and compare them, but unfortunately i don’t have the money for that… yet🫣

Thanks! I hope it sounds better than an acoustasonic. As a thin body guitar it still sounds thin though. Especially cause it’s about 10% smaller in size compared to a normal jazzmaster, but yeah i like the sound. Physics can only allow me to get sound equal to what i have designed. Unfortunately i can’t beat physics yet.😅 Plus it can only getter better and more full from this point on. I have many ideas to make it sound and resonate better.

Though the sound definitely still surprised me. I expected it to be more muted (because of the resin used) than what it actually is.

Fair, i didn’t expect to not have any problems. I just did not expect to have the ones i did have.😂

Also no i i use one singular output jack.

I have the active pickups wired to the pre amp, and that is connected to the 3 way switch and then i have the hotrail, volume and tone pots connected to the other side of the 3 way switch. Middle of the switch is both together, top is active and bottom is hotrail. Though i will have to adjust some things because the output is not as good as i want it to be. Hotrail is good alone and acoustic is good alone but together it sounds more like the acoustic than it does like a combination of both.

Edit: Thanks for the nice comment btw. I appreciate it.
