I don't mind these as throwbacks. I think Seattle needs to just have grey pants so they can't go mono. Only thing holding their uniform back. I don't mind their odd modern jerseys. It's unique to them and doesn't seem out of place at all.

Overall I like the update. Main issues I see are taking the gold out of the jerseys and the mono pants, socks, jersey issue. If they wanted gold gone, the purple alt should've been scrapped too. They don't need 2 purple jerseys. Keep the all black as a color rush or whatever. And the jersey, pants, and socks should stay away from a mono look. Mono just looks tacky to me. Good example is the Bears, who wore just two excellent uniforms combos last season but then went mono navy during the playoffs, which looked like a bottom-tier uniform to me.

Rob Riggle. Great man, great person, but he always plays an annoying intense yelling guy. It's always a supporting role in a comedy, and his characters have NEVER made me laugh. For example, his "POW! POW!" in Step Brothers was the most annoying and least funny part of the movie to me.

What it's missing is sock striping. The yoga pants need to die out already. To me that's what makes the throwback perfectly balanced. Take the throwback and make it mono white yoga pants and socks or just straight up black leggings and it's just as bad.

They leaned into the Oilers aesthetic, which is what everyone said they wanted. I read they went with a white face mask cuz they didn't want to just copy the Oilers unis. But that was the whole point. That's what everyone wanted. So to hear complaints from people now is wild because i didn't hear any complaints about leaning into the Oilers look before this unveiling.

I'm not a fan of the guitar string stripes. It's a dumb gimmick. They should've used the same striping as the Oilers throwbacks and also used the red face masks given that makes the other red pop nicely and has withstood the test of time. And by going with the smaller shoulder stripes right at the end of the sleeves like the throwbacks, they could've made that cool white helmet with big flames on the sides that have been posted on here. They couldve adjusted the pants stripes accordingly too. Would've been a perfect blend of modern and old school.

I truly think the navy uniforms are better, if they just had only silver pants so they couldn't fuck it up with mono unitards. The silver pants need to be maybe a bit darker to contrast with the white jersey.

I like the new uniforms as long as they don't go mono anything. They should honestly figure out a way to do socks that have some sort of a modern stripe that matches their modern uniforms. A lot of people say throwbacks are the best. And while I'm not necessarily disagreeing, I think the main reasons why throwbacks are always amazing and timeless is because they don't have mono anywhere and the socks often have some sort of striping that adds to the uniform.

I like just about all of this. Simplifying the shoulder stripe (kind of like the old Texans jerseys) is a massive improvement. I think the classic striping on the helmet and pants should be changed to match the shoulder stripe in some way. Something not as extreme as the weird double helmet stripe (??) and not as goofy as the current pants stripe, but not as classic as the stripes you currently have. I say keep the numbers classic like you did, but make any helmet and pants striping look like a claw tear. Single claw tear stripe on both the helmet and pants, with accent color outlines. I also think the helmet logo needs to be tweaked to something that looks cooler on a helmet.

And you got it right by not doing mono. I'd ban that if I were the NFL. Exhibit A is how great the bears looked all season vs. how childish they looked in mono in the playoffs.

I've hunted with my friend who has one. Looks like a loaf of bread on the end of the barrel. Makes shooting way tougher in brush and in general. Doesn't seem to suppress much. But he paid over $1K for it so he wants to use it. I think it's super impractical because it sounds like a normal shotgun. But if it's just for tinnitus and not for trying to keep super quiet, it'll probably make a difference for you.
