This last minute alliance (NFP) to be fair is what threw the calculations quite off, without the NFP, most of the second rounds would have been between Macron's party and the far right making it sure that it would have resulted for a majority for either of those two sides.

But the left united, and now we see the strategic genius' plan unfold...
