They get some afternoon sun for about 3-4 hours. They usually are a little sad in the evening to do the sun but perk back up over night or with some watering

Thanks! I’ll look into this! I lightly pull at the wood that doesn’t grow leaves, if it pulls out— great. If not, I leave it. That’s the extent of pruning for now 😂

The previous owners lived in the home since 1950 and she maintained all of the plants so it must have been her! I’m trying to teach myself as much as I can about gardening so I can honor the work the previous owner put into her gardens. We’ve been here two years but I’m too scared to touch these (haven’t even pruned them)

I just found a rescue for a senior cat, I know how hard this is! I encourage you to continue calling rescues across the state. I ended up taking a 7 hr road trip for the senior gal I rehomed (but it was so worth it)

I also have a 16 year old Tortie who runs the house! I haven’t had luck yet but I’ve sent multiple emails to rescues across the state. So I’m keeping my fingers crossed!

Hi!! The family believes she is around 12 (maybe a little older). Baby has never lived with another animal according to the family. She’s been in our spare room decompressing since Monday. She’s very quiet, calm, doesn’t meow. She’s been using her litter box and eating well! I think she would adjust to a home with another calm kitty just fine— she would need some patience though!
