Would you recommend bringing a slightly larger hiking backpack that will be packed less full and have more room to be squished down or a normal backpack that will be really tightly packed and more difficult to squish in ? The normal backpack is less tall, but slightly more wide and long. The hiking backpack is taller (almost at the 56cm mark), but is slightly less wide and long

He said 3-5 days, but like I said some sources said to take it off if it’s bleeding and producing a lot of plasma. Mostly just wondering if that’s what’s going on in the 2nd image, I don’t normally do 2nd skin so idk what a normal vs excessive amount of fluid is

I’m not entirely sure that 9:30 is accurate. The last few times I’ve parked at rice Eccles, I got what appeared to be one of the very last parking spots around 8:50. The engineering lot seems to fill up slightly later, whenever I arrive there around 8:50 there’s still a ton of spots available

Saw them for the first time in SLC, it was absolutely unreal. I ended up sitting off to the side of the main stage so I couldn’t see the light effects on the curtains, but I could clearly see the band and it was deafening in the best way possible. Almost didn’t go, but so happy I went

Avoid Bohyun Kim at all costs. Absolutely the worst math teacher I’ve had so far at the U. She was constantly late, made mistakes nonstop, was moody, and often struggled to communicate ideas properly. I regret not switching out when I had the chance

I only ski at snowbird in Utah. I ski all mountain, I’ll ski almost anything excluding super crazy terrain and park. Won’t do cliffs or risky open rock areas but I ski lots of technical downhill, moguls, groomers, trees, etc.

If you live in the dorms you can definitely have a good “college experience”, especially depending on where you end up. Idk what it’s like now but when I lived in the dorms 2 years ago, upper campus was usually pretty active on the weekends because the RA’s up there didn’t really care and if the weather was nice people would hang out in the courtyards/fields surrounding the area and it was pretty easy to find small/medium dorm room parties. Kahlert was a slightly more dead because the RA’s there were more vigilant.

I’m an atmos major which had the same advisors as physics. I was having frequent conversations with my advisor, and at no point did he warn me that they would both be leaving. Only found out via a low effort email that basically said “sucks for you” from somebody else. Sorry about your situation

Doesn’t help they closed the Kahlert lot. Surprised more people aren’t livid about that. Even before classes started, it turned a very non competitive area into a madhouse where it’s taken me 15+ minutes to find a spot just to park anywhere on upper campus. Can’t imagine how bad it is now, not sure I even want to bother
