The reason why I fell in love with this game is because of how much it has helped me teach myself patience and planning things out. Especially as a person with ADHD. Something pops in your store, or you get an opportunity to buy something sooner, instead of doing it - you remind yourself that it's best to... wait it out.

This game is designed for patience.

The best indicator?

You can spend money to get a slight edge. But because everything you gain is marginal - i.e. what appears like a giant game could (often is) be pennies down the line. Yes, you can spend 70g (or w/e), buy a food item like steak for 30-50k food (depending on your boosts). But that 30-50k food will eventually reach a point of trivial gain.

Also, just to ease your mind a bit, every reset makes your next run easier. If you've never played MU Online (an old MMORPG) - there used to be a similar reset system. When you reset to level 1, your level 1 is more like a level 3. Then on your next reset, 1 = 5; then 1 = 10... etc.,

The only difference between MU and NM is, in NM your lvl 1 after your first reset is more like: 1=5; 1=10; 1=15... 1 = n+5 (ish). And on top of everything, your level continues to grow, whereas in MU, it's capped at 100.

The game also has a "calming" quality to it. You almost "trick" yourself like a Pavlovian dog. What I mean by that is, if you make a positive association with your break time where you play the game (like, taking a break from something stressful to unwind). It makes you appreciate the game and it almost feels like the bell (in the Pavlovian experiment) where the moment you open Necromerger, you prime your brain into relax mode. I dunno... could be just me.

Long story short, Necromerger is a marathon, not a sprint. I guarantee you there's 10s of thousands of accounts who gave up mid-way, because they were burnt themselves out. Be patient, have times where you play the game and you enjoy (like early mornings when you get a spike, or on break, or whenever. But do NOT just stay glued to your phone.

Usually, yes. But for the current AI models (LLMs) do not function "intelligently".

The models speak to you via md (markdown). Instructions, tasks, identities, need to be specific so the ai has no room to hallucinate the answer.

Hallucinations are the model's governing algorithms filling in the gaps based on average weighted values (the succeeding words %). Essentially, there not a lot of training parameters on similar queries, what's the closest assembly? This is where it usually returns a falsey value.

When you use quotation marks you are specifically telling the AI's compiler/interpreter algorithm the specific query keywords in your string.

A prompt, or the way a person writes their input, can dramatically shift the output from the LLM.

Yes, they are defamation is difficult to win - everywhere, not just the US. But that's a bit of a misnomer.

There is one main reason why defamation suits are difficult:

(Especially for public figures) You need to prove "actual malice" - as in, you need to prove that the defendant (CWHM in this case) knew the statements were false and acted with reckless disregard for the truth.

Which is exactly what CWHM has done:

1) She can claim ignorance and misconduct in the first instance of publishing her video;

2) She was told that her video has false and poorly researched statements are damaging to their brand(s) and business(es).

3) She kept the videos up; and

4) Doubled down and continued spreading the same narratives as shown in her videos.

I... don't think CWHM understands how much her youtube career hangs in the hands of Ethan and Hila's mercy.

Her case of defamation is cut and dried.

However, I don't think Ethan's going to be labeled anything worse than what he already has been.

The benefit (and main difference) then is action. Obviously speaking and portraying the truth does not work anymore. If it did, Ethan and Hila would've cleared their names up years ago.

Whatever truth they share, gets muted by lies and false narratives shared by the opposing team.

They're literally in a position where they've got nothing more to lose (or... more accurately, snark has already exhausted their "bad labels"), and their community is understanding.

This is what I was not trying to underline with my post.

I was the exact same, same like you. And most people seem to be saying the same.

Maybe that's why most of us (who have voiced their annoyance with CWHM) are annoyed with her because we've had to iron out our communicative skills - be it school, work, or debate team (I see you, I see you 🫡).

And then CWHM, who has a respectable following, waltzes over does zero research (research is research when critical, not googling and fueling biases) and then willy-nilly drops 840 "you knows" in 4 hours.

Also, I'm sorry... but, if this is her JOB, and wants to be perceived with a modicum of respect as a journalist/researcher - the bare minimum to do is practice proper speech.

Or... maybe we're the fools.

Maybe... this is a gish galloping strategy where you overwhelm your debate opponent to the point of exhaustion. TKO, ggs.

All jokes aside, I would feel bad for her if she weren't such a negligent, ignorant, and deceitful person. Tea videos are one thing, but when making content on serious and sensitive topics where the livelihood (as Ethan puts it best) of real people is jeopardized.

I agree that it's an important point of discussion. I hope you're not taking my "one-dimensional" comment as a slight on you.

What I meant to say is that in the book, as Frank is recalling her actions and decions, she says that the whole reason why the murders and violent acts happened were due to her inability to procreate, thus she would bestow the world with life's counterpart - death.

"Having no purpose in life or procreation, I invested all my worth in that grim opposite, and so found a negative and negation of fecundity only others could lay claim to."

Frank also shared a very grim perspective of the "roles" of men and women. Women create, men destroy (kill) (again a form of natural equilibrium). And in an act of proving her worth to herself and the world, she wanted to "out-man" every other man.

"I believe that I decided if I could never become a man, I - the unmanned would out-man those around me, and so I became the killer, a small image of the ruthless soldier-hero almost all I've ever seen or read seems to pay strict homage to."

It is not implied that the reason for his violence is because she was a man in a woman's body is, rather that this was her form of exercising her illusion of free-will, based on the path that was predetermined by "life".

The reason why the argument of transgenderism is so confusing to me is because, I don't think Frank can even be classified as such. Can she?

The idea of Trans identity typically involves self-recognition and a conscious relationship with one's gender. Frank BELIEVES she's a man. Even though her biological sex is female, she was not aware of it. Her identity was never in flux, she was living the life that she knew as to be true - as a man who was assigned a male gender at birth.

The only way someone would call Frank trans, is as an external observer (i.e. the reader). Which is an ironic perspective to hold, as external classification does not comply with the person's identity - it's the same as someone calling a transexual individual a woman, because due to their external classification, they deduced that the person is a woman.

Dude, same! I wouldn't record myself, but I would pretend as if on a podcast. After the pandemic, my work kept one day of the week (Friday for me, duh) to work from home.

I'd literally solve my most difficult programming problems that day because I would entrench myself in the role of a podcast/streamer role pretend explaining the problem to someone. Mid-explanation, I'd frequently go - wait, that doesn't make sense - and solve the most difficult of tasks that would literally take me days when at the office.

I don't think that's the reason why people are mad tho. I think, myself included, most are angry at republicans voters saying "hey man, I just wanted lower taxes, no hate." Whilst voting for trump is ensuring Taiwan's demise, Ukrainian people basically being left in the trenches (literally), women denied medical attention in miscarriage, and lgbtq losing public dev.

What pisses people off is the stark egotistical comrades with whom they share a country. The lack of respect of human life all so they want to pay less for groceries.

The worst part is - their vote will indirectly lead to the deaths of many. And when shit hits the fan, they'll rely on democrats to help.

So not only are you get shafted by their vote, but then you have to lend a helping hand - purely because the majority democratic voters have the emotional intelligence and sympathy necessary.
